for all by sharing the techniques of the real experts — hundreds of men and women who have mastered their weight — and backing up their methods with solid scientific information.

In this new edition, Fletcher incorporates encouraging new information that supports the book's original findings: that the odds of keeping weight off permanently are far higher than previously thought. These conclusions support the techniques of the weight-loss "masters" profiled in the book, who continue to pave the way for those seeking permanent weight loss. Fletcher also discusses important new diet and nutrition information and includes new sections including recommended print resources, diet program overviews, a discussion of high-protein diets, and Internet resources. The book also includes two different diet plans and dozens of healthful and delicious recipes.

Many diet books have come and gone, but Thin for Life, with its livable plan for permanent and healthful weight loss, is a classic that is here to stay. With the help of Fletcher and the expert, true-to-life advice of the book's weight-loss masters, the dream of losing pounds and keeping them off can become a reality.
