14 Dec. 2007 – Christmas Dinner Once again, this year’s Christmas Dinner was an important momentum of our club life. Great venue, excellent cuisine and above all probably the best company in the world! We also got the great pleasure to welcome a new member-friend in the person of Wilfried Martens, former Prime Minister and current Chairman of the European People’s Party. After the formal welcome and induction by our President Alain Verbeke and a thankyou-word by Wilfried Martens, our guest speaker, Stefaan De Clerck, Mayor of Kortrijk, former Minsiter of Justice, MP and friend of Wilfried pronounced a “Laudatio” including a lot of common souvenirs and anecdotes about our new friend.
