They All Dance and Sing…

They all dance and sing… they all praise their land… mother and jewel. For harvest, and labor day, They dance for the spring, the sunrise Their home Their people They imitate the air They jump, and fly, and go from here to there… recalling The sorrow of the past and The joy of dancing As trees, as flowers, as clovers… in yellow suits and over green grasses They cut the wind, Seduce Dance in circle Worship the sun, the moon, the coming night Joy and energy Community and fellowship They dance as one until the end of times Their feet barely touch the ground Like birds, They touch the sky… St. Patrick’s Day, reaffirms their faith, and there is no better way than dancing, floating, while the music they love is being played.
