1. what is handwriting analysis?

• An extension of body language

• An effective and reliable indicator of personality and behaviour

• A useful tool for many organizational processes, for example: recruitment, interviewing and selection, team-building, counseling, and career-planning.

• First specialized book about handwriting was published in 1622 in Capri by Baldo.

• In the 2nd century, the Roman historian Suetonius Tranquillus stated that the handwriting of Augustus Caesar was not separated sufficiently and that he was therefore mean.

• Ancient Chinese philosophers also used the technique to make deductions about certain calligraphers’ characters

• I am constructing a study of people’s handwriting

• > to learn how a person’s personality, environment (nature vs.nurture) and culture(e.g education, upbringing) influence their handwriting,

• > in order to show my viewers how their handwriting is a reflection of themselves
