ThesignLab è un laboratorio di creativi, designer e architetti che operano nel campo progettuale e visivo.

Nel 2005 ThesignLab diventa realtà operando tra due diverse città italiane: Torino, città post-industriale, e Lucca, storica città toscana. Nel 2009 amplia il suo raggio d’azione con una sede a Bruxelles.

ThesignLab vive tra queste città. Osservando la loro realtà, lavora con passione nella consapevolezza che design significa porsi domande sulla società in cui viviamo e, tramite la propria professionalità, fornire risposte creative alle esigenze della committenza.

Thesignlab is a creative laboratory composed of designers and architects with a focus on architecture, design and communication.

In 2005 Thesignlab became reality and began to operate across two Italian cities: the post-industrial town of Turin and the historically layered Lucca. In 2009 the office expanded its range of action by adding the city of Brussels to the existing two locations.

Thesignlab lives between these three cities. By closely observing their environment, the office works with enthusiasm and awareness of the crucial connection between the social production of space and resulting built form. Creative solutions are offered based on thesignlab’s know-how, open-mindedness and a strong curiosity for emerging and shifting social practices.

DOMENICO RAIMONDI art director and creative designer

Trained as a designer at the European Institute of Design in Turin, Domenico Raimondi earned his degree in Interior Design in 1999. He then specialized in Landscape Design at the Research Center of the European Institute of Design in Milan where he received an International Master’s Degree in Landscape Design. From inception he has operated as an independent practitioner in the field of interior design. More specifically his focus is on the co-ordination, organization and management of multi-disciplinary teams covering the full trajectory of a project, from its conception to its final execution.

Within the overall interest for the design and graphic fields, specific initiatives have included interior and museum designs, exhibition stands and event management, image promotion and graphic design, video-making and branding.

From 1999 onwards he has regularly collaborated with a wide range of professional offices, leading companies, and local institutions. The successful synergy with their respective marketing departments has led to the realization of several design and communication projects.

Since 2009 he is art director of Lucca Fiere & Congressi S.p.A.

Domenico Raimondi, designer, ha completato gli studi tecnici presso l’Istituto Europeo di Design di Torino. La sua formazione comprende un master internazionale in Landscape design diretto dal Centro Ricerche Ied di Milano nonchè importanti esperienze progettuali internazionali inerenti l’exhibit design e la comunicazione.

Fondatore del laboratorio creativo che porta il suo nome attivo a Lucca, storica città toscana in cui vive, e a Torino, città post-industriale ricca di fermenti creativi. Opera nel campo progettuale e visivo con particolare riferimento a progetti e organizzazione di interior design residenziale, commerciale ed espositivo.

Dotato di uno stile dalle linee pulite e definite, in equilibrio tra estetica e funzionalità, rispetto dell’esistente e alla continua ricerca di espressioni architettoniche contemporanee lavora con passione nella consapevolezza che design significa porsi domande sulla società in cui viviamo e, tramite la propria professionalità, fornire risposte creative alle esigenze della committenza.

Offre un servizio capace di gestire con tempi certi e controllo assoluto di tutte le fasi del processo creativo e di realizzazione, dal concept all’allestimento, fino alla progettazione di arredi, oggetti e di dettagli consentendo così di creare spazi architettonici unici, coerenti e personalizzati. ANDREA MANTELLO architect & lighting designer

Trained at the Politecnico of Turin, Andrea Mantello is an architect and (lighting) designer. Being a passionate and dynamic practitioner, he has continuously searched for insight from fields outside of his main domain, beginning with a decade-long collaboration with renowned international artists in Turin. Working chiefly with Arte Povera figures, he has been in charge of numerous installations and exhibitions both in Italy and beyond the country’s borders.

As an architect he has worked with several architectural firms in Helsinki, Berlin, Turin and Brussels. He is active as both an architect and designer, with a recent focus on the design of chairs and lamps, for which he has been awarded a number of prizes. His trajectory also features the setup of exhibitions, retail design and the conception of single objects.

His curiosity for the synergistic intermingling of art, architecture, design, space and light has also led to his collaboration with lighting design offices and related involvement in the design and management of large-scale projects.

Formatosi presso il Politecnico di Torino, Andrea Mantello è un architetto e (lighting) designer.

Professionista appassionato e dinamico, ha continuamente cercato idee in campi al di là dell’architettura, a partire da dieci anni di collaborazione con rinomati artisti internazionali a Torino. Lavorando principalmente nell’ambito dell’Arte Povera, è stato responsabile di numerose installazioni e mostre in Italia e oltre i confini del paese.

Come progettista ha collaborato con diversi studi di architettura a Helsinki, Berlino, Torino e Bruxelles. E ‘attivo sia come architetto e designer, con una particolare attenzione recente sulla progettazione di sedie e lampade, per il quale ha ottenuto numerosi premi. La sua traiettoria presenta anche l’installazione di mostre, retail design e la concezione di singoli oggetti.

La sua curiosità per l’intreccio sinergico di arte, architettura, design, lo spazio e la luce ha amplificato la sua collaborazione con numerosi uffici di progettazione coinvolgendolo nella progettazione e gestione di progetti su larga scala.
