BLUE STANDARD IMPORTED VALVES

FAIL- DRY® CONCEPTFail Dry® is a Plast-O-Matic patented designsafety feature describing the unique conceptof having a vented chamber separating twosealed sections of a valve or pump. In theevent of lower (primary) seal failure, an upper(secondary) seal will continue to keep theoperating media dry. Only controls with thepatented Fail Dry® feature offer this uniqueprotection. Fail Dry® permits a valve or pumpto remain functioning after a primary sealfailure, thereby keeping the process cycleor system operating until maintenance can by scheduled. This avoids costly emergencyshut-downs.

PVC, Corzan® CPVC, Kynar® PVDF, and Natural UnpigmentedPolypropylene. Most products are also offered in PTFE, while moldedproducts are available in Glass-filled Polypro and Halar® ECTFE. Other thermoplastics available, please consult factory.

SEAL MATERIALSElastomer seals include EPDM, FKM Viton®, FFKM, Aflas. Thermo-plastic seals include PFA, TFM, and PTFE. Special and custommaterials, including Kalrez®, Chemraz®, and custom formulations arequoted on request.
