OPERATION

4.1 Recommendations• Forreliablemeasurements,letthereadingsstabilize.Thehygrometer

andtemperaturesensormustreachequilibriumwiththemediummea-sured.

• Avoid temperature measurement errors induced by too short mea-surementtime,sunshineduringthemeasurement,heating,coldouterwalls,airdraft(e.g.fans),radiatingsourcesincludinghandand/orbodyheat,etc.

• Avoidhumiditymeasurementerrorsinducedbysteam,watersplashes,drippingwaterorcondensationonthesensor,etc.

• Avoidsensorcontaminationinducedbyparticlesintheairormeasure-mentsinpowderlikesubstances.Contaminationmaybeavoidedbymeasuringthroughafilter(usersupplied).Thefiltermustbecleanedorreplacedperiodically,dependinguponthedegreeofcontaminationatthemeasurementsite.

4.2 Operating the Model CA8461. Unscrewtheprotectivemetaltubecoveringthesensor.

5.1 Replacing the Battery The symbolappearsontheLCDdisplaywhenreplacementisneeded.Replacewithastandard9Vbattery(NEDA1604,IEC6F22).

Toreplacethebattery:• TurntheThermo-HygrometerOFF.• Removetherubberholster.• Removethescrewfromthebackofthemeterandliftoffthebattery

cover.• Replacethebattery,thenputtherearcoverandholsterbackon.

5.2 Cleaning• Useasoftclothlightlydampenedwithsoapywater.

• Rinsewithadampclothandthendrywithadrycloth.

• Donotuseanyabrasivesorsolvents.

• Donotletanyliquidenterthecaseorsensorarea.


Repair and CalibrationToensurethatyourinstrumentmeetsfactoryspecifications,werecommendthatitbescheduledbacktoourfactoryServiceCenteratone-yearintervalsforrecalibration,orasrequiredbyotherstandardsorinternalprocedures.

3. Dejequela(s)lectura(s)seestabilice(n).El%HRtomaalmenos60segundosenalcanzar90%.

4. Lealapantalla.

5. Despuésdeusarlo,repongaeltubometálicoprotectorquecubreelsensor,atornillándolo.

6. Apagueelinstrumentocuandohayaterminado

MANTENIMIENTO

Utilicesólorepuestosdefábricaparalamanutención.Elfabricantenosehaceresponsableporaccidentes,incidentes,omalfuncionamientopos-terioresaunareparaciónefectuadaporotrosquenoseansuCentrodeServiciouotrocentrodeservicioautorizado.

5.1 Reemplazo de la BateríaLaenergíaesproporcionadaporunabateríaestándarde9voltios.(NEDA1604,IEC6F22).El símbolo apareceen lapantallaLCDcuandohayque reempla-zarla.

Para reemplazar la batería:• ApagueelHigrómetro.• Remuevalafundadegoma.• Remueva el tornillo en la parte posterior del medidor y levante la

cubiertadelabatería.• Reemplacelabateríayrepongalacubiertaylafunda.

5.2 Limpieza• Periódicamente limpie lacajaconunpañohúmedoyundetergente

suave,siserequiere.• Noutiliceabrasivosnisolventes.• Nopermitaqueentrelíquidoalacajaoalazonadelsensor.


Reparación y CalibraciónParaasegurarquesuinstrumentocumpleconlasespecificacionesdefábrica,recomendamosqueloenvíeanuestroCentrodeServicioparare-calibración,anualmenteosegúnlorequieranotrosestándaresoprocedimientosinternos.
