“Therefore encourage one another and build one

another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Dear WCA Families,

We hope you are having a wonderful summer! As faculty and staff plan and prepare for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

The theme for this school year is “Encourage and Build Up” from 1 Thessalonians 5:11. I pray that God will do a mighty work in the minds and hearts of every student, teacher, and parent this school year as we encourage and build one another up with the grace, love, and truth of Christ.

Also, please join us in prayer for every student and family and that we will embrace this verse throughout the school year.

As I write this letter, classrooms are being repainted, floors waxed, and the campus is being cleaned for the start of school. Teachers and staff are getting ready and we are looking forward to a great WCA school year to God’s glory!

We invite all elementary and middle school families (K5-8th) to join us for WCA’s “Welcome Back Night” on Monday night, August 13, at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. Then, Tuesday morning, August 14, we invite all preschool families (K3-K4) to attend the “Welcome to Preschool Day,” from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. beginning in the Student Center. These events will provide parents the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher.

Also, on the first day of school, parents are welcome to attend the Convocation Chapel scheduled for Wednesday morning, August 15, at 9:00 a.m. This will be a very special time as we dedicate the new school year to the Lord.

We hope this Summer Information Packet is helpful as you make preparations for the new school year. If you see something you don’t understand or need further information, please contact the school office at (954) 349-9224. We will gladly assist you.

Blessings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Steve KitchensHeadmaster
