This system, which weighs less than 42 pounds, provides 8,600 li- ters of breathable oxy- gen-enough oxygen for over 35 hours of flow at a nominal rate of four liters per minute. The system of- fers the user a lightweight and convenient alternative to the bulky components now in use. This new breed of LOX Systems will be the first of its kind to be installed in the EMS helicopter net- work.
