UNDERSTANDING RAPE TRAUMA FROM NEUROLOGY TO SOCIAL STIGMA ABOUT THE PRESENTER Beth Enterkin, MAAT, LCPC, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. Beth received her Bachelor’s degree with Honors from Brown University in 2007, and her Master of Arts in Art Therapy from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2009. Beth has also completed 40+ hour trainings in Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention, Domestic Violence, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention. Beth is a sought after trainer and expert witness, who is passionate about helping mental health professionals, social workers, and judges and juries better understand the impacts of trauma. She envisions a world in which no rape survivor will ever feel blamed, judged, or misunderstood by anyone in the mental health field who they may turn to for help.
