Thoughts
• Marital Law?
• FEMA Camps?
• Social media’s impact on society?
• Is it too fast? Wrong information being shared and leads to chaos…

The BIG question…
• How does media influence communities on social justice issues?• I believe media has a huge effect on social justice issues. It is
easier and faster to receive information than it ever was. This leads to faster reactions from communities and usually before all the facts are brought to the public.

Good or Bad?
• Politics• On issues dealt on a national level that deals with a lot of
politics media can only do so much…is this because the govtkeeps the media from reporting as much as they could? (ISIS)
• Not a lot was presented to us about ISIS at first.
• We know they are dangerous and it has lead to some fear but why hasn’t the government told us more or done more?
• Europe vs US

Good or Bad?
• Ferguson• The nation was angry before even all the facts were out and
available.
• Social media has shared factual and false reports of what has happened.
• Unrest in the community and the nation
• Would it have gotten as bad as it is now if the media did not get involved right away?
