What Is History? We are all susceptible into

misinterpretation of facts because of our emotions.

History is a set of facts but it can be misrepresented and misinterpreted which makes it crucial for us to have an objective attitude towards it and to make sure our facts are reliable before we come up with any conlusions.

The journey of man Humans evolved nearly

50,000 years ago and we all originated from Africa.

The fossil record and genetics shows us our evolutionary history and our family tree.

Humanity went from being nearly extinct to the most powerful species in our history.

Catastrophe!

Archaeological evidence and Dendrochronological evidence can be used to measure previous disasters.

Disasters will cause people to migrate, accommodate to the changes, or to die our.

An example of the disaster is the little ice age.

Changing Interpretations of America's Past

Historians have assumed that the Amazon forest was not manipulated by humans during the pre-Columbian era but Archaeologists of found proof that shows old civilizations existed in Amazonia.

This discovery shows that new evidence can always arise and what we know about history today could one day change.

The World & Trade When America was

discovered, people knew the Earth was round but still had many misconceptions about it.

New resources such as the spices found in the eastern countries and land in the Americas motivated trade and expansion. Expansion in the Americas began after Columbus's discovery of the new world.
