Thedealwasforthediamond is definitely one of them..." - Decoy Music "Some kind of math rock/post-rock hybrid of pure, unadulterated bliss..." - The Silent Ballet "Unrivalled technical brilliance..." - Rock Sound After a busy and exciting 2012, recording their debut full length and playing shows with the likes of Make Good Your Escape, Maybeshewill, Cult Of Luna, Tesseract and Latitudes, Thedealwasforthediamond have recently put the finishing touches on their self-titled full length album to be released in early 2013. Produced by Mark Roberts, the album is awash with subtle yet powerful atmospheric layers and expansive soundscapes, tracks like 'Inhale' and 'Home' sees the Brighton based four-piece fuse full- bore beguiling post-rock with melodic metal proving that the praise that was heaped upon their 2008 'It's Not Enough To Reproduce EP' was entirely justified.
