 A summary of education, skills, andexperiences

What is the purpose of aresume?

To get the interviewer to read your resumeand call you in for an interview.

Basic Guidelines

Begin with the most relevant information

Begin with the most recent dates and work backwardschronologically ± covers ten years

Quality paper & matching paper for the resume, cover letter & envelope

Same heading on the cover letter and resume

Proper grammar, punctuation, word usage

Clear & concise, not repetitive

Use the spell checker 

Font size, Font style & Scanable

 Adjust margin size, line spacing

Visually appealing
