SYMBOL OF FRIENDSHIP . . . Early last week, Mr. Kakichi Nagai, Chairman of the Board, Sintokogio, Ltd., Nagoya, Japan, and Mr. Takeo Mizuno, General Manager of International Sintokogio, visited our division. Sintokogio is an affiliate and licensee of Wheelabrator.

In special honor of Mr. Nagai's long and mutually beneficial friendship with our company and its employees, a tree planting ceremony took place on the Wheelabrator grounds (Southwest corner of the South Office Building). Participating in the ceremony were (I to r): Ray Leliaert, John Bergh, Bob Riordan, Mr. Mizuno, Joe O'Calla· ghan, Mr. Nagai, John Burlingame, Bob Orth, Jack Trant, and Harold Schulte.

Representing a combined total of 191 plus years of Wheelabrator know-how, we thank our five retirees for their long and valuable service to our company and extend best wishes for long and happy retirements.
