If you are looking for the perfect location for a special event, The Waterfront Restaurant could be the right choice for you. Depending on the SIZE and BUDGET you have in mind, we can offer you a flexible choice to suit a variety of occasions.

Facilities at The Waterfront include:

• No hire charge – for groups of 15 or more, so you can spend your budget on your guests.

Please note that there is no disabled access to the upstairs room.

Upstairs at The Waterfront

For smaller, more intimate gatherings, we have a beautiful, beamed, high ceiling private room above our restaurant area, which offers stunning views out on to the wharf over Juliet balconies. With its own bar and toilets, you are entirely separate from the rest of the building.

This room is regularly used to cater for many different functions, including christenings, intimate weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries and drinks parties. It’s a popular space – in addition to social events, it is well used during the day for business meetings and presentations. So, if you are planning an event for 10 – 45 people, it’s a space that can accommodate your individual requirements.

The entire venue

If you are looking for a larger space than the upstairs offers, the entire Waterfront space is available to hire. A former storage warehouse dating from the 18th century, The Waterfront has been totally renovated and updated with contemporary styling – whilst maintaining its original character. The Waterfront enjoys views over the canal wharf and many describe the location as offering ‘the best view in Harborough’. The Waterfront is the perfect place for weddings or parties, and the combined space can accommodate up to 120 people.

Upstairs function room capacity and costs:

30 fully seated - 45 for a buffet.

Free - if you book for more than 15 people.

£100 deposit secures your booking – then pay the balance 1 week before your event.

To hire the whole venue - capacity of the downstairs restaurant:

65-100 for a buffet. Using the upstairs room as well, 120 for a buffet.

Bespoke menus arranged when the whole venue is hired - please arrange a meeting with the owner to discuss options.

£250 deposit secures your booking then pay the balance 1 week before the event.

The Waterfront party bookings terms and conditions

A £100 non-refundable / non-transferable deposit is required to confirm your booking.Your preorder is required no less than 4 days before the booking day - this can be emailed / posted or phoned in to us. If the numbers reduce within 24 hours of your original booking without notifying the restaurant then you may still be charged the full amount. A 10% service charge will be added to your bill on the day. We reserve the right to cancel any functions due to unforeseen circumstances.
