Sports Leadership Day
Thank you to Mrs Part for supporting our sports captains and vice-captains as they visited Pennant Hills High School as a part of their Leadership day. We value the strong connection we have with PHHS. Our school leaders are wonderful role models for the school community.
Congratulations to our
Sport Captains and Vice
Captains who represent-
ed TWPS at a Sports
Leadership Day at Pen-
nant Hill High School.
The Sport Leadership
program supports
schools in developing
leadership opportunities
for students through sport
and physical activity. It was a fun day of learning new skills and I
am proud of the way all students participated and represented
TWPS. Ms Part

Wakakirri and Drama News
We are in need of some donations for our Waky item. Any plastic swords. Size and
shape not important. But they cannot be returned. Please leave in the RED LETER BOX
in the library or give them to Ms. Johnson or Vanessa Erickson. Also, a kings cloak, a fur
or fake fur stole or piece, and a gold ornate crown.
A reminder that Waky rehearsals are Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday. Ticket orders for
the heats have now been collated. If you are not getting regular emails from the TWPS
Waky Team please contact us.
It has been wonderful watching the students stories in drama classes this term.
Humorous performances, miming being in a car. Below is the link to the original video
that inspired us.

NAIDOC Week is next month and we have all been working on songs to perform in the
final week of term. Ask your children what do 'narkula' and 'marryuna' mean. Here are
the links to the songs.

Garden Club
In term 2 the Green Thumbs lunchtime garden club is being held on Tuesdays. If your child is feeling bored or lonely in their lunch breaks tell them to head on over to the Green Thumbs garden (next to the oval and TWOOSH building). Most Tuesdays a parent volunteer will be there to help the kids water, weed and most excitingly, dig for worms! To find out more about the Green Thumbs garden club or to volunteer visit our Facebook Page - TWPS Green Thumbs - or email [email protected]
