an experience military hard to maintain. Why?

shortages and military attack.

Americans neutral, even payment would not keep Native Americans with siding with Britain.

Smallpox epidemic spread quickly among soldiers starting in Quebec 1775.

By 1779, spread all the way to New OrleansMore people died of this disease in the

American Revolution than battle casualties.By 1782 more that 130,000 died Only 8000 soldiers died from battle wounds
