Principal’s Message
Thanksgiving is a time for reflection,
for counting our blessings for our
family, friends and other priorities in
our lives.
The Virtue of the month of October is GRATITUDE. Whenever we gather as
a faith community to worship, we offer thanks to our God. The blessings of
food, friends, family and freedom are all gifts from our Creator God. As we
prepare for the celebration of Thanksgiving, we are urged to take some time to
remember our blessings and give thanks. It is said the secret to Happiness is
gratitude. Happy Thanksgiving to all our families.
If the only prayer you say in life is thank you—it is enough.
Meister Eckhart
Sincerely, Neil McGrath, Principal

Library News We kindly ask that any library books still signed out be
returned to the school library.
While we may not be able to enjoy library time together because
of COVID restrictions, it doesn't mean we can't have some library
fun. Visit the Holy Angels Virtual Library for a curated selection of
e-resources including fun videos, activities and read-alouds. While
we don't have the same access to free resources like we did dur-
ing the lockdown, I am always on the hunt for good reading re-
sources that are free. One of the best out there is of course the
Toronto Public Library. If you don't have a library card, click here
to apply for a digital card which will give you access to everything
TPL has to offer including e-books and audio books.

In order to minimize the number of people in the school, we are enforcing a strict Essential Visitors policy.
At this time, access to the school is strictly limited to staff, students, and essential visitors (occasional staff, serviceproviders, and contractors).
Student Drop-Off Safety Parents are reminded to drop-off students safely at the kiss and
ride by the west side of the school or briefly park at the church and escort your child to the
yard and leave promptly before the 9am bell. Vehicles must always enter from the church entrance and exit
by the school side. No idling please.
Student drop-off and pick-up will take place outside of the school. Visitors are only permitted in the school yard during morning drop-off and after school pick-up. All volunteer programs in the school will be paused until further notice.
