Piano Or keyboard synthesizer if a piano cannot be use d. However, the synthesizer should have a sustain pedal and at leas t a 5 octave range.
Electric Guitar with Floyd Rose tremolo system and piezo Roland- ready pick-up. Roland VG8 Guitar System pedal board, with MIDI swi tched on for the G string only and the rest through the normal pick-up s. Super Slinky Strings (0.9mm) played with a 0.43mm p lectrum. In this score, the guitarist is also playing a refe ree’s whistle, although this can be assigned to another player.
Electric bass guitar 40-100 gauge strings played with a combination of fingers and 0.45mm plectrum, as notated. In this score, the bass guitarist is supplying the forced belch at Bar 116. This can be assigned to another player, or , if none of the players can belch at will, can be replaced by an eq uivalent sound, at the players’ discretion, but within the boundaries of safety and hygiene.
Drum kit – 26” Bass drum 14” Snare drum 14” Hi-hat with two-bell agogo placed atop 12” Rack tom 16” Floor tom with cymbal covering top skin 20” Ride cymbal 18” Crash cymbal, preferably split 18” Splash cymbal with two smaller crash cymbals placed loosely atop Bulb horn attached to hi-hat stand Use 5A, round headed, hickory tip stic ks.
