Depart for ferry Arrive Heysham Port – approximately 12:15
Parent Worries!!!Ferry - Heysham to Isle of Man to Heysham •Services will be operated by the Ben-my-Chree with a crossing time of between 3h 15m and 3h 45m.•Children are together in one area on the ferry with the 4 adults.•Children are only allowed out on deck with an adult.•Children go to the toilets in groups of 2 or 3.•Please let staff know about any sea sick medication that will be taken before we sail and what we need to do for the return trip.
Parent Worries!!!Ferry - Heysham to Isle of Man to Heysham •Children to have healthy packed lunch – avoid sweets and fizzy drinks. •Have extra healthy snacks along as evening meal won’t be until 6:30-7:00 p.m.•Games, puzzles, books, etc. to play•I will phone Mrs Charnley and Mrs Harwood when we arrive at the Venture Centre. You will be able to phone them after 8:00 p.m.

•Family run business that has been operating for almost 30 years.•All their staff are qualified instructors in the various activities and pursuits; and all are first aid trained.•The Centre holds the following badges:
Parent Worries!!!• Children are in dorm rooms of 6 to 8 children to a room – boys
in one room/s and girls in another room/s.• Dorm rooms have key codes to enter.• School staff are on site just across from the dorm rooms.• Children are well fed.

Please ensure all items are clearly marked with the child’s name. Clothes should be suitable for tumble-drying.
Please DO NOT bring radios, CD players, mobile phones, expensive watches, penknives, computer games, jewellery etc..
Please DO NOT bring sweets!
Spending Money
There is a Tuck Shop at the Centre. The children can buy postcards, pencils, pens and other small souvenirs. Sweets are available, but the amount that the children can buy at any one time is limited.
In the past children have taken £5 spending money.
