• To talk about something or an event occurred in the past and goes on till now, maybe to the future.谈论过去发生的事情一直持续到现在。

The use of the Present Perfect

To talk about past experiences or to say some event in the past is connected in some way with the present moment。谈论过去的已做的事情对现在造成的影响，但不强调具体时间，中文通常带有“已经”之意。

past （ In the morning, Annie had breakfast. ）

present (She is not hungry.)

Annie has had breakfast,

so she is not hungry.
