Who is Your Audience?

Discuss who they are and where they come from. How can you target them?

What Is Your Purpose?

To bring a community together? Or a company or clients?

Where Is The Venue?

Discuss budget options, the size of your event or assign a team to do some research if you don’t already have a venue in mind.

When Is The Event?

Does it conflict with other local events, holidays or company events during that time period? Literally study the calendar - timing is everything!

Why are you offering this event?

Is it a tradition? Promoting a product or service?

Discuss charity Assign a team to research it. Can you find a cause to work with and support/promote?

Will you require one? Will there be break-out workshops? Is there a contract fee or budget to discuss? Outline potential event topics.

Vendor/Sponsors Booths

Will there be table space to rent? Will your company provide the table, chairs and linens for each space?

Eat, Drink and Be Merry

Food brings people together! Will you be hiring a vendor? Does the venue offer this service? Can sponsors be cover these costs? Consider a creative theme or trendy concept.

Other Ideas to Discuss

Outline the details of the event and discuss what else needs to be considered at this point. Give yourself more time than you think you’ll need for everything.
