Every Tuesday, free programs are offered to the community by artists from around the world. The series enjoys partnerships as well with local arts groups, including The Levine School of Music and the Washington Bach Consort. A beautiful and resonant acoustic space, a 64-rank Aeolian- Skinner organ, and a 9-foot Steinway grand piano provide performers and audiences alike with a glorious experience of the arts each Tuesday, attracting those taking a break during their work day, tourists, groups of seniors on an outing. and student groups. Freewill donations help to defray the costs of maintaining the instruments, administrative costs, and providing a small stipend for the performers, but the need is always greater than the available resources. 1/21 "Walking the Steps: MLK Musical Tribute": The Coalition forAfrican Americans in the Performing Arts (CAAPA), highlights the mission ofDr. King through music.

1/28 The Bridge Ensemble's "Performance with PurposeInitiative", presents David Lang’s the little match girlpassion in partnership with DC homelessness serviceorganizations. This performance benefits Church of theEpiphany's Welcome Table ministry.

2/4 Sleep, Dreams, and Awakenings: SingerBarbara Hollinshead and Howard Bass, lute,performing music from Elizabethan England,including solos by John Dowland evoking spirits andfancies that inhabit our nighttime imaginations.

2/11 Jinsun Cho, Director of Music at The Church of the Epiphany, plays aprogram for organ including works by Bach, Franck, Holst, and Liszt.

2/18 Isabelle Frouvelle and JonathanBaumgarden performing French music for fluteand harp.

2/25  The Heimat Quartet play music by FrankBridge and the String Quartet, Op. 51, No. 1 byJohannes Brahms.

3/17 Richmond-based pianists Magdalena Adamek andMichelle Huang in a concert of solo and piano four-handmusic with a dance theme, featuring music by Bach,Schubert, Chopin, Dvorak, and Szymanowski.

3/24 Music to Accompany the Journey: Walking the Labyrinth This programincludes the music of Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Frederic Chopin, and Alan Hovhaness. Atrained labyrinth facilitator will be on hand to guide anyone who wishes to learn moreabout walking the labyrinth, or simply come to listen.

4/7 Washington Bach Consort performs Bach's Cantata Wo soll ich fliehen hin,BWV 5.  Organist for the prelude is John Walthausen.

4/21 Pianist Chengcheng Yao plays works by Beethoven and Brahms.

3/3 The Washington Bach Consort performs Erhalt uns, Herr, bei deinem Wort,BWV 126. Prelude organist is Daniel Aune.

4/14 Sweetest Sympathy: Soprano Laura Choi Stuartand guitarist Mark Sylvester join forces on a programincluding works by Monteverdi and Dowland, arrangementsof Mendelssohn lieder by Mark Sylvester, Falla's SieteCanciones Populares Espanolas and the beloved BachianasBraisileiras No. 5 by Heitor Villa-Lobos.

3/10 Great Salt Water: A Musical Telling of theHistory of the Chesapeake Bay. Music for mandolin,guitar and bass with Josh Walker and friends, telling thestory of our region's most important water resource.

3/31 Bulgarian pianist Teodora Adzharova plays music of Beethoven, Janáček,and Mendelssohn.

4/28 Lisztomania: Italian-born pianistSandro Russo will perform a piano/organdouble-bill recital featuring Franz Liszt’s DanteSonata for piano and the colossal organwork Fantasy on Ad nos, ad salutaremundam. An opportunity to hear our magnificentAeolian-Skinner organ and Steinway concertgrand showcasing two masterpieces in one recital.
