30 MINUTES

Of

SILENCE

Page 5: The Tribulation

(Rev 8:1-5) And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them

were given seven trumpets. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much

incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was

before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the

angel's hand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into

the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

(Rev 1:19) Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be

hereafter;

Understanding the outline of RevelationIn order to have 3 divisions in the book there must be 2 place that create those divisions, and make a transition to the next point of the outline. These 2 place are seen when heaven opens.

(2Ti 2:15) Study to shew thyself

approved unto God, a workman that

needeth not to be ashamed, rightly

dividing the word of truth.

GOD’S PATTERN OF TIME

Page 15: The Tribulation

(Gen 2:3) And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and

made.

Page 16: The Tribulation

(2Pe 3:8) But, beloved, be not

ignorant of this one thing, that one day is

with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as

one day.

Rabbi Elias (200B.C.)

“The world endures 6000 years: 2000 before the law, 2000 under the law, and 2000 under Messiah”

Barnabas (70A.D.)

“And God made in 6 days the works of His hands: and He finished them on the 7th day, and He rested on the 7 day and sanctified it. Consider, my children, what that signifies, He finished them in 6 days. The meaning of its is this: that in 6000 years the Lord God will bring all things to an end. For with him, one day is a 1000 years; as Himself testifieth, saying, behold this day shall be as a 1000 years. …

Page 19: The Tribulation

NOTES

…Therefore, children, in 6 days, this is, in 6000 years, shall all things be accomplished. And what is it that He saith, and He rested the 7th day; He meaneth this: that when His Son shall come, and abolish the season of the wicked one (the Anti-Christ), and judge the ungodly; and shall change the sun and the moon, and the stars, then He shall gloriously rest in that 7th day.”

Barnabas, the Epistle of Barnabas—The Ante-Nicene Fathers, (Grand Rapids: Eerdmans Pub. Co.,1987) Vol 1 pp. 146-147

Irenaeus (150 A.D.)

“This is an account of the things formerly created, as also it is a prophecy of what is to come. For the day of the Lord is as a 1000 years; and in 6 days created things were completed; it is evident, therefore, that they will come to an end at the 6000 years”

Irenaeus, Against Heresies-The Anti-Nicene Fathers, (Grand Rapids: Eerdmans Pub. Co., 1987) vol 1 p557

NOTES

Lactantius (300A.D)

“Because the works of God were finished in 6 days, it is necessary that they world should remain in this state 6 ages, that is 6000 years. Because having finished the works He rested on the 7th day and blessed it; it is necessary that at the end of the 6000th year all wickedness should be abolished out of the earth and justice should reign for a 1000 years.”

Lactantius, the Divine Institutes-the Anti-Nicene Fathers, (Grand Rapids) Vol VII, p 211

Rabbi Ketina

“The world endures 6000 and 1000 it shall be laid waste (that is, the enemies of God shall be destroyed), whereof, it is said, “The Lord alone shall be exalted in that day,” As out of 7 years every seventh ( is a ) year of remission, so out of the 7000 years of the world, the 7th millennium shall be the millennial (1000 years) years of remission, that God alone may be exalted in that day.”

Bishop thomas Newton, Dissertations on the Prophecies, (Londaon:1817) Vol. 1., p 317

NOTES

Bishop Latimer (1552 A.D.)

“The world was ordained to endure, as all learned men affirm, 6000 years. Now of that number, there be passed 5,552 years (as of A.D. 1552), so that there is no more left but 448 years (ending in A.D. 2000)”

(Rev 8:6-12) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt

up. And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of

the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven,

burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name

of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. And the fourth

angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the

stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

(Rev 8:6) And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

(Rev 8:7) The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they

were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was

burnt up.

Page 29: The Tribulation

NOTES

The Bible is very clear that hail is going to fall from the sky. This hail is going to be the size of basketballs , weighing any were from 70 lbs to 130 lbs

Page 30: The Tribulation

(Rev 16:21) And there fell upon men a great hail out

of heaven, every stone about the weight of a

talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail;

for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Page 31: The Tribulation
Page 32: The Tribulation

NOTES

Because of the damage of the hail, fire mixed with blood, 1/3 of the vegetation will be killed off and ALL of the green grass.

This will then result in a loss of food, not to mention poor air quality, mudslides, floods, and soil erosion

All of these plaques on the earth are nothing new, but were shadowed already in the Old Testament…

Page 33: The Tribulation

(Exo 9:22-25) And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that

there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every

herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt. And Moses stretched forth his rod

toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the

ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt. So there was hail, and fire

mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation. And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail

smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

(Rev 8:8-9) And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became

blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third

part of the ships were destroyed..

Page 36: The Tribulation

NOTES

Remember the 2 most important words in the Bible.

John is not saying it is a burning Mountain but as or something like.

An asteroid or meteor or comet

Page 37: The Tribulation

…as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into

the sea…

Page 38: The Tribulation

NOTES

The result is that 1/3 of the sea (Mediterranean) is turn to blood.

Page 39: The Tribulation

(Exo 7:20-21) And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD

commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his

servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood. And the fish that was in

the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could

not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood

throughout all the land of Egypt.

Page 40: The Tribulation

NOTES

The result is that 1/3 of the sea (Mediterranean) is turn to blood.

The 1/3 part of the creatures die (effecting the famine even greater)

The 1/3 part of the ships are destroyed as a result of the impact and tidal wave• Shipping of Food• Shipping of goods • Shipping of Fuel

(Rev 8:10) And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a

lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of

waters.(Rev 8:11) And the name of the star

is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became

wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made

bitter.

Page 43: The Tribulation

NOTES

This is once again a meteor or asteroid that John saw.

As a result 1/3 of the drinking water is now a deadly poison.

Page 44: The Tribulation

(Jer 9:15) Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel;

Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give

them water of gall to drink.

(Deu 29:17-18) And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols,

wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them:) Lest there should be among you man, or woman,

or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall

and wormwood;

Page 45: The Tribulation

(Mar 16:15-18) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and

preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall

be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs

shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not

hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Page 47: The Tribulation

(Rev 8:12-13) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the

moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud

voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Page 48: The Tribulation

NOTES

This trumpet deals with the lights of the earth.

1/3 of their light is effected. The light will shine 8 hours less

Page 49: The Tribulation

(Gen 1:14) And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and

for days, and years:

(Gen 1:15) And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the

earth: and it was so.

Page 50: The Tribulation

(Rev 8:12-13) And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the

moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud

voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to
