Dr. Gino Yu of Hong Kong Polytechnic University is founding the Transformational Arts and Techonolgy Centre (TAT) in Lin Gang, China, less than one hour on the Shanghai Metro and Pudong International Airport. The centre is being designed to explore consciousness and the relationship of the mind and the body and will include a branch of Sophia University.

To raise awareness of TAT’s program and facility, a series of twelve transformational events are planned leading up to the centre’s grand opening in 2017. Based on the emerging Transformational Festival culture and industry, these monthly events will be highly curated to experientially awaken and transform the participants as well as the team producing the events.

Drawing from the best of the best from the international festival and event production industry, this project will be a magnficent example of collaboration, synergy, and symbiosis. Executive Producers from highly visible and large events in the United States, Asia, and Europe will work together to aggregate the most effective and spectacular experiences, technologies, and teachers, bringing with them some of the most innovative and creative artists and support staff. This combination of mastery of the subject matter and ability to execute large scale operations is precisely what is required to transform the remarkable and vancat resource of the Lin Gang site into a bustling consciousness community centre.

In addition to the events in Lin Gang, one of the events in the series will be coordinated to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada and Normandy, France. This global event will help raise international awareness of the event series as well as the Transformational Arts and Technology Centre, further expanding the cross-pollination of the myraid communities and networks involved.

Lin Gang IslandLin Gang is located in Nanhui, Pudong district, less than an hour from Shanghai’s international airport. The China National Tourism Administration rates Nanhui as a AAAA (out of five) tourist attraction. A short walk from the Transformational Arts and Technology Centre is Lin Gang Island. A number of expos, festivals, and events have already occurred on the island, which features all the infrastructure neccessary for large events. This XXX hectare (YYY acre) island is available to use during the TAT events, as is the rooftop of the building, expanding the activities and interactive experiences to the outdoors.

Also very close by is the Crowne Plaza, a four-star hotel with posh amenities. While the island provides the opportiunity to camp under the stars, VIP Packages will be available for those who would like to be pampered during their transformation. This high-yield revenue allows for very affordable general admission pricing. In this way, we are bridging the socioeconomic gap and begin to heal class division.

• Maker’s Shop and Creator’s Classes: In order to fabricate the myriad experiential and interactive exhibits, the centre will have a phenomenal machine and tool shop, taking advantage of China’s production of remarkably affordable heavy equipment. Laser cutters, CNC cutters, and 3D resin printers allow the production teams to create immersive envronments in which the mind of the participant truly feels transported to other worlds and dimensions. With these tools on location, the master craftsment who operate the machinery will teach classes to event participants so they might return to their region with the ability to reproduce the exhibits themselves. This allows the reach of the transformative event series to very quickly expand and realize its greatest potential.

• Gallery and Marketplace: A considerable amount of art and inspiring objects will be created during each event and in the off-schdule. These will be on display and available for purchase throughout the year.

• Health and Wellness: TAT’s Health and Wellness team will research and provide alternative healing and wellness techniques and devices that are innovative and not readily available, making it a destination for avid spa goers.

• Retreats: The centre will host and produce a full range of conferences, personal growth seminars, and yoga retreats whose visitors will utilize the centre’s accommodations and patronize the its services.

• Conscious Tourist Bookings: Making the process as easy for our visitors, concierge service includes travel bookings. Guests traveling to China for the TAT events will be able to select a broad range of packages to visit other consciousness centres and events in the region. Stragegic partnerships with existing transformational festivals provides opportunity to cross-pollinate communities while expanding the chances for visitor’s personal transformatiuon.

Strategic Partners & Sponsors

17

The years of experience in the Transformation and Festival businesses has resulted in strong relationships with many potential strategic partners and corporate sponsorships. The list below is a very small sample of some of the companies with whom our executive leadership team has worked with which may be possible partners and sponsors.

Page 17: The Transformational Arts and Technology Centre presents A ... - … Lin Gang TAT Centre 15… · team producing the events. Drawing from the best of the best from the international

According to Nielsen Music, 32 million people attended at least one music festival in 2014. 14.7 million are millennials - the most attractive demographic for advertisers.

The Bloom looked at the transformational festival market and determined current attendees number about 1.2 million with an expected growth to 5 million within the next five years. Lightning in a Bottle had 20,000+ attendees in 2015, up from about 15,000 in 2014. In 2014, 66,000 people attended Burning Man. From 2010 – 2014, Insomniac reported that 3.39 million Electronic Dance Music festival goers attended 48 events in 14 US cities and spent $3.17 billion dollars. $1.7 billion of that was spent in Las Vegas by the 135,000 daily attendees of the Electric Daisy Carnival. (Beacon Economics)

In the United States, there are over 200 festivals with an attendance of over 1,000 daily visitors, and the list is rapidly growing. The average festival goer travels 903 miles to attend a festival. Music and sustainability festival attendees pay an average of $150-$400 for three-day overnight and camping tickets with additional fees for Parking, Camping, and RV hookups.

A complete revenue model is available for review.

Ticket Sales: General Admission tickets for three-day events will be $500 with VIP packages available for a premium.

Venue Leasing and Equipment Rental: Once events are underway, the venue will be ideal for corporate retreats and local event producers. The TAT will strategically align itself with the producers of local transformative events as well as companies who have begun to recognize the importance of team building and personal growth. Not only will this bring in revenue for the operation, but it once again extends the reach of the centre and is an opportunity for cultural and community crossover.

Food, Beverage, and Liquor: In addition to intending to serve an all-day healthy buffet, a variety of restaurants, food trucks, coffee shops, ice cream stands, smoothie stations, raw food cafes, nightclubs, bars, and hidden speakeasies are planned. Our objective is to stand up as many stations as required to minimize line length and waiting times allowing guests to engage in the real festivities.

Retail Sales and Merchandising: The vision for Delphi Marketplace is that it will sell camping gear and supplies, Delphi branded merchandise, commissioned art, water fun gear for Lake Mohave, and more.

On-Site Vehicle Impact: An impact fee is planned for on-site parking with the intention of providing off-site parking throughout Las Vegas and an ecofriendly party shuttle to the property at no cost. This solution reduces traffic congestion and overall energy consumption as well as frees up space on the property.

Accommodations: A projected capacity of 10,000 includes: • Conventional accommodations: Tent Camping, On-site Camper Trailer

rentals, Boutique Camping, and Glamour Camping. -- Tent Camping: Sleep 2-4 with assumed rate of $50-$295/night. -- On-site Camper Trailer rentals: Sleep 4 with assumed rate of $100-$295/night. -- Boutique Camping and Gamping (Glamour Camping): Larger, luxury, and lot premiums with assumed rate between $295 to $1,500/night.• Creative accommodations: Earth Ships, Yurts, Containers, Hobbiton

Underground, Dhomain Inflatables, a Shipping Container Hotel, and an Airliner B-n-B (airplane fuselages for hotel rooms and theme camps).

• Luxury and cabana units: VIP and Table Service are embedded in prime locations within the amphitheater and are available for a lot premium.
