10:30 – 11:45 Christos ArchosChains of Events and Chains of AspectsIn reality, our current predicament is a result of cumulative past events and decisions that finally lead to what we call an ‘important time’ in our lives. Through linking chains of events, we can see the root of a situation and make more effective changes to our future.

11:45 – 12:15 Break

12:15 – 13:45 Jodie Forrest The Ascendant and Dynamic Astrological EventsAstrologers understand the great importance of transits, progressions and Solar Arcs involving the luminaries. 13:45 – 15:00 Lunch (and time to visit The Astrology Shop for special offers)

15:00 – 16:15 Karen Hamaker-Zondag The Astrology of Facebook The history of how Facebook came into being is highly revealing. It becomes even more interesting when we add the chart of the IPO (the first sale of stock) and speculate a possible timed chart for Mark Zuckerberg. Karen will combine the website’s history with psychology and astrological techniques, including Nessus, Pholus and Sedna. Will Facebook survive?

16.15 – 16.45 Break

16:45 – 17:45 Wendy Stacey The Immortal Horoscope: How the Chart Lives on After Death It is fascinating to discover that, long after someone has died, their chart still responds to transits. Sometimes these transits bring them back into the spotlight, but this phenomenon is not exclusive to famous people – it can happen to anyone. The nature of the transit, the planets involved and their role in the chart provide insights that Wendy will be sharing today. (A recording and PDF will be made available to those attending Deborah’s workshop.)

10:30 – 11:45 Darby CostelloForecasting: Playing with the FutureMost people outside our community think that astrology is about predicting the future. When people come to us they often ask, ’What is going to happen?’ During this talk I shall try to articulate how I have learned to deal with such questions.

11:45 – 12:15 Break

12:15 – 13:15 Frank CliffordSpontaneous Forecasting Join Frank for an hour of impromptu forecasting to pinpoint current and upcoming transits and Solar Arcs. Submit your chart or help Frank explore the potentials from the charts of willing audience members. (A recording will be made available to those attending Karen’s workshop.)

13:15 – 14:30 Lunch (and time to visit The Astrology Shop for some final offers)

14:35 – 15:50 Alan Clay Sedna Consciousness: The Soul’s Path of Destiny Discover the evolutionary spiritual power of Sedna – the new esoteric outer limit of our solar system – and learn of the profound implications for society and for each of us individually in the coming years as she approaches her closest point to Earth.

15:50 – 16:50 Christos ArchosPredicting Events with DeclinationsLearning how to use declinations in forecasting will help us better understand our future and its surprises. It also shows us what’s most important in a natal chart.

16:50 – 17:10 Break (and the last chance to buy books) 17:10 – 18:00 Jodie Forrest Solar Arcs: Directions from the Sun Like medieval knights, Solar Arcs are meant to serve the ‘king’ of the chart, the Sun. Depending on your response, any solar arc, even those not involving the Sun, can help strengthen your sane side. Join Jodie to explore this popular method.

SATURDAY 14 SEPTEMBER SUNDAY 15 SEPTEMBER

16:30 – 18:30 Cosmic Connections: Perfecting Timing Techniques in Horary, Elections and NativitiesA workshop with Deborah Houlding (an additional £30)Astrology studies the quality of a moment. But no moment is entirely separate, so astrological prediction requires understanding of how seed moments reconnect to fruition moments, often with stunning arrays of cosmic connections. Fascinating case-studies demonstrate techniques for predicting when moments of significance occur. Besides sharpening astrological technique, this workshop will explore broader concepts of radicality and how astrological moments unfold meaning over time.

12:30 – 14:30 When Critical Points in Cyclical Patterns CoincideA workshop with Karen Hamaker-Zondag (an additional £30)The Jupiter–Saturn–Pluto conjunction is building in tension. This astrological cyclical pattern will hit important charts in the world. In some of them, they aspect their own position, forming a separate cycle. Historical research led Karen to the primal chart of the stock exchange, a very informative chart – one that will will be hit hard by the triple conjunction. In this special workshop, Karen will offer a deeper understanding of the era in which we are living, and look at the years ahead, as there are many cycles climaxing at this important period of our history. (For timing reasons, we recommend that delegates signed up to this workshop have lunch between 11:45 ad 12:30.)
