The function has been a result of good Industry Institute Interaction, Students

showed good enthusiasm to display their projects, the neighboring industries who

the faculties to organize the grand function, the efforts of each faculty members in

making their projects perform at their best. The function generated a high degree of

excitement in the faculty and students of the college. The students are motivated by

the prizes and certificates, the 1st prize of project was Rs. 3,000/- 2nd prize is Rs.

2,000/- are given to all department best project groups. Total 23 number of project

groups participated, 13 from Mechanical Engineering Department and 10 project

groups from Automobile Engineering Department in this Project Exhibition.

Unfortunately there are no ‘instant success’ pills available with chemist like me nor is success achieved by following a magic formula. But the good news is that success can be developed - by a combination of several techniques, put together in a workable fashion. Some people succeed in their lives. Others do not. Winners are those who follow certain successful principles in their day to day lives. You can study their winning qualities, choose the ones that will benefit you and then develop those particular traits. Soon you will discover a dramatic change in your life. Thinking is the act of using one’s mind to produce thoughts. Since it is such an important step in the problem solving process, it is imperative to think clearly and correctly. There are two kinds of thought processes: Positive and negative. A positive thought process is Success- Oriented; a negative one is failure-Oriented. “If you think you can do it, you can. On the other hand, if you think you cannot do it, you cannot. Either way, you are right.” To be successful, you must think positively. A positive thought process can be cultivated and practiced by anyone. People once thought positive thinking was a characteristic that you were either born with or without. Today we understand more about human psychology and know that this trait can be developed. Some ways to develop the habit of positive thinking are: Associate with people who think positive. Study and understand the circumstances thoroughly. A clear understanding of what is going on around you is an essential requisite to positive thinking. Accept this concept, if you were successful 100% of the time, you would not be human… Don’t let failure demoralize you.

A fearless mind tends to concentrate more on the positive aspects

of a task. Fear is the worst enemy a human being can have. A positive thinking process is the key to winning. For example, boxers and wrestlers always sound very positive about

winning, and they do win. The same principle applies to football games. All the players have to think that they are going to win. This opens up their subconscious mind and they start getting new ideas about playing the game so that they can win. A football coach constantly encourages his players saying, “You can do it, you can do it”. What he is doing is injecting positive thoughts in to their subconscious mind to make the players think positively about winning. The same principle applies to several aspects of day-to-day life. A great example is

Positive thinking builds up self- confidence in a person. Positive thinking and self confidence are the two characteristics go hand in hand and are vital for success. If you think you are a dull person and have no personality, your self-confidence level will sink to zero. The way you think about yourself will be reflected in your lifestyle and other will agree with you, that you are dull and worthless. On the other hand, if you think you are interesting and have a good personality, you will start projecting these traits through your elevated level of self-confidence. People will easily see this behavior in you and admire you for it. People tend to worry too much about their looks. They build their self-image and confidence level on this basis. Some even develop an inferiority complex because of their physical appearance. No matter what you look like, a good personality can be easily developed, provided you think and feel good about yourself.

However, you can

greatly improve your looks by being physically fit and dressing successfully. It does not matter if you are of average looks, or not good-looking. Develop self confidence and a pleasing personality and you will be surprised how positively people will react to you. Last but not least…
