A Extreme Close up is used to show the taxi drivers eyes, he doesn't ’t look very happy and his skin is very red. Having a male showing no expression could mean he's a cop which is a convention on Film Noir.

A Medium Shot s used to show the heavy rain dripping on the car window. You can see the bright different coloured lights from the shops and bars outside which give it the Film Noir feel.

This Long Shot shows the audience that the film is in a busy city with cars going past and neon lit shops. Having the city at the night is a convention of film noir.

A Medium Shot shows the taxi drivers point of view, the audience can see teenagers walking across the road into a night club. Red smoke is coming from the floor which gives the shot a dangerous atmosphere.

An Over The Shoulder Shot shows the taxi driver coming into his office, there is a man smoking in front of him which is a convention of Film Noir.
