While the Jimny has been built for everyday life, this is a 4x4 that turns every journey into something special. Its bold exterior has been designed to cope with whatever’s ahead, while always looking the part. It’s fun, stylish and spontaneous.

Brawny doesn’t have to be bulky as this 4x4’s compact dimensions prove. Its tidy, short overhangs not only ramp up its off-road ability when the going gets tough, but also give great manoeuvrability. So getting through tight spots is easy, and parking is too. On a practical note, front fog lamps cut through mist and murk, giving you great visibility whatever the conditions.

The Jimny’s 190mm ground clearance provides a superb vantage point both on and off road. While its bumper, grille and bonnet shape look just as sharp up a dirt track as they do in the city. And speaking of looks, its 15” alloy wheels* and rear privacy glass* ensure you’ll get plenty.

While everyone you pass will be admiring your Jimny from the outside, you’ll be getting to grips with an interior you can’t help but admire from the inside.

Practicality doesn’t come at a price with the Jimny. It comes as standard. The dash is functional yet handsome, while the synthetic leather seats* are easy to clean, meaning mud can do its worst. When it’s hot outside, air conditioning* brings the temperature down, while you can turn up the tunes with DAB digital radio.

Around the cabin you’ll spot tons of clever stowing solutions, like a lockable glove box, centre console storage and front door pockets. In the back, the 50:50 split folding seats make all kinds of luggage easy to transport. And when you’re transporting a lot, there are 324 litres of space with the back seats folded or 113 litres when they’re up.

You may be off the beaten track, but it doesn’t mean you can’t travel in comfort.

Whatever the conditions, the Jimny has effortless handling with a light but strong 1.3 litre petrol engine.

Though the terrain outside might be bumpy, you can glide through the gears with a choice of transmissions: 5-speed manual for great off-road control or 4-speed automatic* for economy, control and comfort. Plus with a selectable 4-wheel Drive system, the Jimny can adapt to any terrain at the push of a button.

1. 2WD: for normal on-road driving, with all engine torque going to the rear wheels.

2. 4WD: splits engine torque between the front and rear wheels, for normal off-road conditions or driving in difficult conditions like snow.

3. 4WD-L: engages low ratio gears for maximum off-road performance when it’s needed.
