Olive Mickie Ross/speaker Judy Apel, Susan Snelson, Marianne Inmanguests of Carolyn Holloway Last Program(March 31) Mickie Ross, the director of the Williamson County History Museum, was given a nice introduction by Carolyn Holloway. Mickie spoke about the upcoming exhibit, the Civil War and Williamson County, which opens April 24 th . Our county was the first to vote not to secede from the Union, because of the many European ethnic groups living here. Mickie also explained the many programs offered by the museum. Paid memberships pay for the costs of these programs. Being the first lady of Georgetown, Mickie works actively to promote our city. Happy Bucks ($70) Many members were happy for our visiting guests. Rotarians in the News President Bob spoke of the passing of fellow Rotarian Chuck McKay. George Olive celebrated his 87 th birthday. Granddaughter Cecilior spilled the beans. Dick and Carol Will have returned from a four week trip to South America. After getting married in Hawaii, Mike Simon returned for a short visit. Membership Matters Lou Gibson spoke of why our small club should be proud for donating over $6000 to Polio Plus this year. Raffle Tickets All members have been asked to volunteer selling tickets one Saturday at the City Market.
