VISIONThe Road Warrior programme, being a
public/private partnership mechanism to promote and develop work creation
throughout Africa. Through the effective implementation of the Jetpatcher Road Maintenance System, members of the
community are mobilised & trained by the private sector and deployed by local,
regional or central government, to maintain and repair the roads in specified geographic
areas in a community driven business structure.
MISSIONTHE SUCCESS OF THE ROAD WARRIOR PROGRAMME WILL BE
ACHIEVED BY :
1. The mobilisation of community and social networks as a mechanism to promote the Road Warrior programme and the establishment of a business structure per community.
2. Accessing government and other resources to procure the Jetpatcher Road Warrior System on behalf of the communities mobilised.
3. Developing and training the members within the community business structure in terms of business development, road maintenance and repair, technical systems maintenance, and community related development programmes.
4. Providing product supply and support to all participants in the Programme through the business structures created.
5. Ensuring continued project service support for all stakeholders in the Programme.
6. Creating the financial mechanisms to support business requirements which are otherwise not attainable.
7. Establishing an effective project management system for all participants in the Programme

PROJECT FINANCING
• The 3 levels of co-operatives work as follows:1. Primary Co-Operative is formed by 5 or more Natural Persons and
may register with at least 51% BEE partnership for equal profit sharing after expenses is covered and reserve fund is sustained.
2. Secondary Co-Operative is formed by members from 2 or more Primary Co-Operatives by means of equal shares purchased.
3. Tertiary Co-Operative is formed by members from 2 or more Secondary Co-Operatives to provide financial support to participants.
• DMV provide start-up grants up to R500 000 to Primary co-operatives, after approved business plan of Co-Operative was accepted to indicate sustainable growth and business venture.
• Your 10% contribution (R50 000) will be explained during business plan development to be provided by CSI / DMV / DBSA Grant Application.
