Basic S&T are developed and many projects for high active responsive photocatalysts have been approved by the government.

Recently, the academic researches shifting from environment application to solar energy conversion, and from UV active photocatalyst to visible active photocatalyst.

Market is potentially large but currently in disorder, and is even declining.

Many products appeared since SARS in 2003, and mainly used for the control of indoor air pollutants, the products are mainly focused on the anti-bacterial and air purifier products.
