Automotive Component TestThe16-bitresolutionoftheEthernetprogrammingandhardwaretriggeringallowsfordetailedsequencingassociatedwithbatteryfluctuation simulation. The tight load regulation capabilityoftheDCSseriesmakesitasuperiorsourceforvalidationandacceptancetestingandburn-inofautomotivecomponents.The20Vmodels,inparticular,provideafullrangeoftestingtosimulatebatteryconditions.Margintestingof12Vand14Vnominalcomponents,suchaselectroniccontrolunits(ECU)andelectromechanicalcomponents,iseasilyachieved

Battery ChargingBatterychargingrequireshighaccuracyvoltageandstablecurrentoutputforfastbulkandabsorptionphasechargingandhighaccuracyand stable voltage for float charging to avoid “gassing”thebattery.TheDCSseriesprovidesahighaccuracyvoltageoutputtooptimizebatterycharging.Withtheremoteinterfaceoptions,thechargingprocesscaneasilybeautomatedforvolumeproduction.
