Features The serpents have an elongated body without legs.
They are characterized for swallowing their preys without chewing as their low jaw divides in two.
They mustn´t be confused with the slow-worms or the skinks
There are four main types of serpents:
Cobras, mambas and coral snakes Snakes
Pythons and boasVipers and rattlesnakes
They have two ways to kill:
By poison By constriction
They inject the poison across their fangs
They use their muscles to asphyxiate to their preys
Cobras
They kill their preys with their extremely dangerous poison.When they feel in danger they get up on the soil, spit poison and extend their gorgerets that make them look like a bigger animal
Anacondas
They use their musculature to kill preys of great size. They bite the victim and coil it with their rings until the prey dies of asphyxiaton. Sometimes they have killed humans
