Please check the tank before you shop to see if you need more. We will reimburse you for one refill per stay. Try the Circle K on the corner. Just take a snapshot of your receipt.

We also provide an initial supply of paper towels, toilet paper, facial t issue, dish detergent, basic cleaning supplies, and garbage bags. If you run out of these disposable items during your stay you will need to purchase them.

When you return from the beach please use the outdoor shower on the side of the house outside the side door to remove sand from bodies, chairs and toys. Take the least amount of sand into the house for your own comfort!

C AB L E T V There are three TVs, one in the living room and one in the master bedroom inside The Shack and one in the Flunky. Cable channels are listed in the Welcome Book as is a help guide in case you need to reboot the cable box (less common) or if you see “no signal” f loating on the screen. TR AS H AN D R E CY C L IN G

Regular trash days are Mondays and Thursdays. Recycling is only picked up once per week on Thursdays. Please pull to the street early on those mornings even if they are not full. Pet waste must be bagged before tossing it in the can please. What items can I recycle? White or pastel off ice paper, phone books, paper egg cartons, magazines, brochures & catalogs, opened mail & greeting cards, newspapers & inserts, fi le folders, paperboard boxes, blueprints, paperback books, paper bags, corrugated cardboard, cans (do not crush), plastic (1-7) bottles-tubs-jugs & jars, glass bottles & jars, clean, balled aluminum foil (2” or larger) and pie pans, loose metal jar lids & steel bottle caps, paper milk/juice cartons (no foil pouches, do not flatten), empty aerosol cans (no caps). Trash pickup scheduled to occur on a major national holiday will get moved to the next day. Wednesday is yard waste pickup day.

The irrigation is set to come on at a specific date and time to comply with permanent, mandatory watering restrictions. Please do not alter the irrigation timer in any way unless instructed to do so by us (in case of emergency for example).

Most people know not to flush tampons or other sanitary products down the toilet. But please do not f lush “personal wipes” either. If the toilet clogs and you are unable to unstop the toilet we will have to call a plumber. No one wants that.

H E AT IN G AN D C OOL I N G The Shack has a wall-mounted mini-split that has a remote control. The best seating seems to be to have the blades rotating. The Flunky has a wall-mount AC unit. Please don’t use it with the doors and windows (such as the one over the bar) open.
