Once upon a time lived a very strong young man, who went all over the world to earn his own living and to find happiness. He arrived to a place, where people lived in fear of the seven headed dragon, which by then killed a lot of people.

Ţivel je zelo močan mladenič, ki je odšel po svetu, da bi si zasluţil kruha in si poiskal srečo. Pride v kraj, kjer ljudje trpijo zaradi zmaja s sedmerimi glavami, ki je pokončal ţe mnogo ljudi.

The king of that country announced, that whoever defeats the dragon, gets his dauther to become his wife and his crown.

Kralj deţele razglasi, da tistemu, ki premaga zmaja, da svojo hčerko za ţeno ter kraljevsko oblast.

The young man volunteers and sets out to fight the dragon. With him he takes a mighty sword and sets towards the lake where the wicked beast dwelled. A lord, who wants the crown for himself, finds out about the young man’s intention. As he is terrified of the dragon, he secretly follows the young man, and hopes that he will do the job instead off him. As soon as the young man comes close to the dragon, the dragon attacks him, but the fearless young man immediately cuts it`s seven heads, cuts and takes his seven tongues. He leaves the rest of the heads by the lake..

Mladenič se javi kralju ter gre na boj. S sabo vzame teţak meč ter se odpravi proti jezeru, kjer prebiva hudobni zmaj. Za mladeniča izve tudi velikaš, ki ţeli prevzeti kraljevi prestol. Vendar se zmaja zelo boji in mladeniču skrivaj sledi, da on opravi delo namesto njega. Ko pride mladenič do zmaja, ga le ta takoj napade, mladenič pa mu poseka vseh sedem glav ter poreţe iz zmajskih ust vseh sedem jezikov, glave pa pusti ob jezeru

Tired from the battle the young man goes into the forest and falls asleep. Meanwhile the lord collects the seven heads and hurries back to the castle. King is very pleased by the news that the dragon is dead. As promised he organizes a majestic banquet, and announces the wedding between the lord and his daughter.

Ker je truden, gre v gozd in zaspi. Velikaš medtem časom pobere vseh sedem glav ter se odpravi nazaj v grad. Kralj se novice, da je zmaj mrtev, razveseli ter priredi gostjo in okliče zaroko med velikašem in hčerjo.

Soon after that, the young man comes into the castle and tells, that he killed the dragon. At first the king gets very upset, but when the young man shows him the seven tongues, he realizes, that the young man is telling the truth. The deceitful lord at once is thrown into the darkest dungeon, while the young man marries the king`s daughter and gets the crown.

V grad pride tudi mladenič ter kralju pove, da je on ubil zmaja. Kralj se sprva razhudi, ko pa mu mladenič pokaţe sedem jezikov, sprevidi, da govori resnico. Velikaša zaprejo v ječo, mladeniča pa

zaroči s hčerjo in mu izroči krono.
