• PRINCESS: Not awarded. OLD BUSINESS: Hubs Bob Hughes Noel has reported that after our last meeting, Delia has sent a “Get-Well” card to Bob and has signed everyone’s name in the card. In addition, Keith reported that in talking with Rhonda, Bob had a stroke after he got home from the hospital. He is doing okay. They are moving down into the valley. The house is all packed. His gun collection is almost all sold off. We should all give Rhonda a call for moral support. She is running everything for herself and Bob at the present time. NEW BUSINESS Steve Gardiner As everyone may know, Steve Gardiner, a long-time member of CA4WDA

and a friend to many, passed away on August 17, 2020. It was suggested that the club donate $300.00 to the CA4WDA Foundation in Steve’s name. A motion was made by Hubs and seconded by Keith Graham. The motion passed. A check will be requested from the Treasurer. The Leamon-Lykins will be attending his “Celebration of Life” on September 19, 2020 at the Slash-X Ranch outside of Barstow.

Monthly Run The September run to Sherman Pass was cancelled due to the fires. Club Contact It has been suggested that we change the current contact information for the

club in both the “In Gear” magazine and the on-line contact to an active member of the club. Currently Tuvia is the contact in the magazine and Montego is the contact on-Line. Although these members are very knowledgeable, they are not the most active. Currently we are getting members from the current membership by word of mouth. This will be further discussed at the October meeting.

Monthly Meeting After the adjournment of the September meeting, members were discussing discontinuing the Zoom meeting. There were 16 members in the parking lot and only 6 via zoom. Everyone in the parking lot were social distancing and some wearing mask, including me. We have had many difficulties with the zoom meetings, too many people talking over one another and not hearing everyone. So until our meeting resume at the Rod and Gun Club we will continue to meet in the parking lot near the Galleria. Remember to bring your chair and be prepared to purchase your raffle tickets because we will start having our raffles again. FINES COLLECTED: $0.00 ATTENDANCE RAFFLE: The September winner of the Attendance Raffle of $10.00 was

Serge Levesque. As he was present at the parking lot meeting, the Raffle goes back to $10.00 for October. Serge has generously donated his

Attendance Raffle money to “The Celebration of Life-CA4WDA Foundation” In the name of Steve Gardiner.
