January 7-8 - we will continue the tradition of the blessing of the home. A packet with Holy Water container, chalk and a House Blessing will be available that weekend. This is one way we can dedicate our homes to the Lord and ask the Lord to watch over and protect all who dwell there.
A New Bulletin Format:
Today we are using a new bulletin format to better communicate our parishes events. We found that people would read page two and not page three (page one is the cover) and vise versa and miss announcements where we are able to fit them. Most announcements are for both parishes. Therefore are format is as follows. Page 2; Column one, SS. Cyril & Methodius
Schedule of Ministers, Collections, Intentions and Bingo. Column Two, the same items specific to Holy Trinity. Page 3; announcements for both parishes, and
items specific to our Pastoral Care Area (PCA) Page 4; announcements from outside our PCA. Page 5; Mass intentions and weekly schedule. Any given week there may be some overlaps, but that is why it is good to read the whole bulletin.
A HEARTFELT THANK YOU is extended to eve-
ryone who baked or supported the Altar Rosary Cookie Sale. It was a great success. The next Cookie Sale will be held on Palm Sunday, April 9.
A special thank you to all those who make up their weekly envelopes when they have been away!
To insure you get proper credit for your con-tribution, please mark your envelopes.
Stewardship news– The Blessed Virgin Mary
was the model steward with her unqualified, “yes” and complete trust in God’s will. When I put God first in my life, everything else falls into place.

A Family Perspective From the office of Family
Life Education. The gospel tells us “Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart.” We would do well to imitate Mary in our New Year’s resolution. Instead of criticizing let’s “keep it in our hearts.” Criticism isn’t productive or well received anyway!
May 2017 be a Year filled with
Happiness, peace, joy and Good health
For each of you!

A New Year’s Thought:
Christ is our Peace; the sins of YESTERDAY
by His most precious blood are washed away.
