CREATIVE PALETTE

TECH WAR (LAN Games)

LAN gaming has blossomed into one of the most profitable entertainment

industries in the world. The mobile technology boom in recent years has

revolutionized the industry and opened the doors to a new generation of gamers.

Gaming has become integrated with modern popular culture that now even

grandmas know what Angry Birds is. RNB Global University organized ‘Tech War’

(LAN Games) on the first day of INSPIRE 2017 to develop and enhance the

essential skills of decision making, team building, coordination, strategic

planning, quick response, etc. Dr. Praveen Gupta and Mr. Sunil Bhardwaj, SOBAS

were the coordinators of the event. Two games were played under ‘Tech War’-

Counter Strike (Team) and Need for Speed (Solo). Need for Speed was won by

Praduman Singh (B. Sc. II Sem.) and Rishiraj Singh (BCA II Sem.) was the runner

up. In Counter Strike was Sachin & Team, took the first position while

Chandraveer & Team got second position in the same.

-Rahul Kagdiyal (B. Sc. II Sem.)

In this era of multitalented minds, all round development of a student has become the

order of the day. To teach the youth the skills of multitasking and to prepare them to

compete in this cut throat competitive world educational institutes provide various

opportunities for them to learn, to exhibit and to explore their skills. The scenario of

RNB Global University is not an exception to this. By the means of the annual techno

cultural fest INSPIRE, RNB gives a huge platform to its students to bring out the best

in them.

A plethora of events were organized during INSPIRE 2017, one of them was the

CREATIVE PALETTE – an event of delineation of the inner self through vibrant colours

and creativity. Many students from RNBGU and other institutes participated

enthusiastically in this event. Everyone had to make a piece of art (painting/creative

art) of his or her choice. I was amazed to see, each one attentively painting their hearts

and minds very beautifully and flawlessly.

All the paintings were marvelous, so it became very difficult to even guess, who would

win. Soon the awaited moment came, when the judge Mr. Mohan Dudi announced “The

Flower” composition as the best painting of the competition. I jumped out of

excitement; my happiness was inexplicable, as I had won the First Prize winner for my

creation “The Flower”. Pranay Kachhawa from M. N. Institute of Applied Sciences,

Bikaner, was the runner up of the competition. Prof. Sanjoy Pal SOBAS and Dr. Amit

Joshi, SOASS were the coordinators of the event. Mr. Dudi appreciated all the paintings

and gave some important tips on paintings. In this way INSPIRE 2017 has left me with

everlasting memories to cherish; memories of a moment when I discovered the artist

in me.

TABLE WAR With a Paddle, Tennis Stars find They're Up the Creek

MASTER MINDS (CHESS)

Understanding the need to promote healthy competitive spirit

amongst the youth, RNB Global University organized its second

annual fest INSPIRE on 28th & 29th January, 2017. During these

two days various cultural and sports events were organized.

Although, I participated in both kinds of events but I had my

very own favorite event - Master Minds, because chess has

always been considered as a game played by intellectuals with

critical thinking abilities and the fact remains that Chess is

extremely helpful in the development of brain, when played

regularly.

Dr. Praveen Gupta and Mr. Sunil Bharadwaj, coordinators of the

event, briefed the rules and regulations to all the participants. I

had been preparing for this game for last one year and to be

applauded by the spectators on each and every move of mine

during the game was delightful. The enthusiastic participation

of the students and encouragement of the audience was

admirable.

Sanuj Yadav from BBA IV Semester showcased exceptional

Chess moves and won the competition. The event left everyone

with wonderful memories to be cherished for years to come.

-Bhavya Gupta [B.Com. (Hons.) IV Semester]

INSPIRE 2017 was a gala celebration, aimed to bring talents to the

forefront. On 28th January, Table War (Table Tennis) competition

was organized under the coordinator ship of Dr. Praveen Gupta &

Mr. Sunil Bhardwaj from the School of Basic and Applied Sciences.

‘Girls are not less than boys’ was once again proved correct here

in RNB Global University, during INSPIRE 2017, as it was observed

that the game of Table Tennis was enthusiastically welcomed by

girls. Although, girls participated in almost all the events actively

like Billiards, Chess, etc., but their significant participation in Table

Tennis was commendable. The competition was divided into two

categories i.e. girls and boys. There was a cut throat competition

in semifinals and finals. Bhavya Gupta (B.Com. IV Sem.) Was the

winner and Megha Singhi (BBA IV Sem.) was the runner up in the

category of Girls Single. In the Boys Single category Diwanshu

Gaur (MBA IV Sem.) & Piyush Chandak (BBA IV Sem.) were the

winner and runner up respectively. In the Boys Doubles category

Diwanshu Gaur & Piyush Chandak were the winners and, Jayant

Lodha & Bhanu Pratap Singh (B. Sc. IV Sem.) were the runners up.

Continuous cheering by the students made this event more lively

& energetic. I feel privileged to be a part of this University because

it gives me a plethora of opportunities to explore my hidden

potential.

-Megha Singhi (BBA IV Semester)

TREASURE HUNT

RNB MASTERS (Snooker Competition)

‘Where you look is where the ball will go’

- Ronnie O’sullivan,

5 times world champion of ‘Master Snooker’

The Snooker competition ‘RNB Masters’ was organized on

January 28th, during INSPIRE 2017. Snooker is one of the popular

games played by the youth of the 21st Century. A lot of patience

and concentration is required to play and sway the game in ones

favour. Overwhelming participation of the RNBians and students

from other schools and colleges made this event very interesting.

The students of RNB were over enthusiastic to showoff their

talent on this platform. The competition was quite challenging

and throughout the event the atmosphere was quite thrilling.

Mudit Khajanchi (BBA IV Sem.) was the runner up and I was the

winner of the competition. Prizes were distributed in the closing

ceremony of the fest on January 29th, 2017.

-Keshav Mimani (BBA IV Semester)

Amid clear sunshine TREASURE HUNT, the

event of brains and dedication was organized

during the annual techno-cultural fest of RNB

Global University - INSPIRE 2017. The objective

of the game was to increase the creativity levels

using mind, body and strategy to solve the given

clues. A total 8-10 teams participated in this

event. The team leaders along with their teams

gathered to start the event. Each team leader

was given an envelope having three hints. The

hints were about the description of the object,

location/whereabouts of the object and a

number written on the object. Each team was

challenged to solve the clues and find the object

in order to win the prize. Dr. Jaipal Dhoable and

Mr. Suhail Tomar, SOET were the coordinators

of the event.

Our winning team comprised of me as the Team

Leader and, Chhavi Verma, Savi Sethia and

Naman Chhalani as its valuable members. As

soon as we got the envelope we took our time to

decipher what it actually meant. We examined

one clue at a time and finished first. It was a

great experience almost like something out of a

movie. A movie with us solving clues looking for

something we only had heard of and never seen

before. We were surprised to see that even

though being the last ones to start, we were the

first to finish. It was fun and I felt good, being the

team leader.

-Khushi Parakh (B. Com. - IV Semester)

PAPARAZZO

Photography allows one to capture the world around with a click of a

shutter. It is an art of observing and of finding something interesting

in an ordinary place. I believe it has everything to do with the way you

see and perceive objects around you. RNB Global University organized

a photography competition “PAPARAZZO” on the first day of INSPIRE

2017. Participants were instructed to capture the still images of the

events, organized on the day one of INPIRE 2017. The best-captured

photograph was to be submitted on the next day i.e. 29th January for

the competition. Students participated actively in this competition and

spent their day to capture images of different events. Ms. Shalini Joshi,

SOASS & Mr. Kshitij Jangir SOCM, were the coordinators of the event.

Fortunately, I was the winner of the competition and got the first prize

for my beautifully captured image of a chessboard during the Master

Minds Competition. My experience while clicking the photographs was

overwhelming because through this I got a chance to see the world

around me with a different perspective.

-Arham Bothra (B. Com. II Semester)

IMPRESSIONS

My Documentary: Unforgettable Children

On the first day of INSPIRE 2017 a documentary making

competition – IMPRESSIONS, was organized under the coordinator

ship of Prof. Hansraj Arora (SOL) and Prof. Sanjoy Pal SOBAS. Mr.

Gopal Singh, Director of Sand Dune International short film festival,

judged the competition. The winners of the competition were

Umang Khatri, Nagendra Singh & Lovepreet Thind (B. Sc. IV Sem.),

and we, Priyanka Wadhwani & Abhay Chawla from B. Sc. and BBA –

IV Sem. were the runner up.

For our documentary we chose the topic –Unforgettable children.

The motto behind choosing this topic was to portray the difficulties

a child faces when born on the streets. In India we have millions of

children who do not have proper livelihood and at a very early age

they have to start working which make their life even more

miserable. After talking to children on the streets I got to know one

thing that in spite of having so many hardships they still manage to

smile. This just left an everlasting impression on my heart. This is

the message that was conveyed to the audience by my documentary.

My team succeeded in spreading awareness among our viewers on

the same. All I would like to say is, Always remember “YOUR SMALL

PENNY CAN ADD A MEAL TO THEIR DAY”.

-Priyanka Wadhwani (B. Sc. IV Semester)

KUISINIER (Cooking without fire)

ADVERTO

(Fusing ingenious young minds with fresh strategies to sell products)

Among all the events which were held during INSPIRE 2017, ‘Kuiziner’

(Cooking without fire) was my favorite one. It was organized on the second

day of the annual fest. Dr. Manjoo Saraswat, SOCM and Dr. Manish Pandit,

SOBAS, were the coordinators of the event. We were instructed to prepare

a dish without using fire/electric appliances. Participants made delicious

desserts and snacks. For us, it was not only an opportunity to express our

cooking skills but also a way of learning to work in a team and coordinate

within given time limit to accomplish a task. It was an amazing experience.

Everybody tried hard and put forward their best dish. Chefs from Hotel

Narendra Bhavan and Hotel Lakshmi Nivas Palace were the judges of the

competition. The First position was won by Apeksha Modi and Priyanka

Baid (MBA II Sem.) and Vaishali Khajanchi, Resham Soni & Aarti Aggarwal

(BBA IV Sem.) took the second position

-Vaishali Khajanchi (BBA IV Semester)

Undeniably, advertising is the best way to promote goods and services, and

to communicate with the customers. It is said that, ‘Great advertisement

makes good food taste better’. They make a car run better, it changes the

perception of everything. Like clothes make the man, advertisement makes

the product. More importantly in this cutthroat competitive age, advertising

has become indispensable for manufacturers, distributors, customers and

society in general. Keeping in mind all these various points, ‘Adverto’ - the

advertisement making competition was added in RNBGU’s annual fest

INSPIRE-2017.

This competition was organized by the university to identify the future

innovative advertisement geniuses among the students. Participants were

given a task of preparing an advertisement video of not more than 5 minutes

using notional products with unique features. Professor A. K. Mitra & Mr.

Mayank Agarwal, SOCM were the coordinators and Mr. Nadeem Faisal, AGM,

Narendra Bhavan, Bikaner, was the judge for this event. Conquering this

tough competition Umang Khatri & team (B. Sc. IV Sem.) secured the first

position.

For all the participants it was a substantial learning experience; as they

showcased their skills with creative ideas, innovative techniques and

strategies, to make a unique impression of their products.

-Resham Soni (BBA IV Semester)

BIZZ BEE

(Business Plan)

‘Bizz Bee’ is an activity to articulate ones

business idea into a plan; and for an

entrepreneur it’s essential to have a well-

defined business plan, in-fact it is a must.

Working on this logic, RNB Global University

organized ‘Bizz-Bee’ competition on the first

day of the annual fest INSPIRE 2017. The event

was organized at the Moot Court, Academic

Building 2. Professor A. K. Mitra & Mr. Mayank

Agarwal from School of Commerce and

Management were the coordinators.

To highlight the importance of such

competitions (business planning) I like to

quote few lines from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s

Adventures in Wonderland.

When Alice comes to a fork on the road and

asks Cheshire Cat:

“Would you tell me, please, which way I ought

to go from here?”

“That depends a good deal on where you want

to get to,” said the Cheshire Cat.

“I don’t much care where–” said Alice.

“Then it doesn’t matter which way you go,”

said the Cat.

I consider this as a perfect example of lack of

vision/clear goal. Nowadays, youngsters have

lots of ideas in their mind and are very

passionate to become an entrepreneur, but

they are not focused and lack a clear

vision/goal and proper planning.

Keeping this fact in mind RNB Global

University provided a platform to the young

aspiring entrepreneurs to generate an idea

and transform it into a well-defined business

plan. Enthusiastic participants presented their

ideas and business models through

presentations. Mr. Nadeem Faisal, AGM,

Narendra Bhavan, Bikaner, was the judge for

this competition. Mr. Faisal appreciated the

talent and potential of the participants. Varun

& Team (MBA IV Sem.) was declared the

winner, and Naman & Team (B. Com. IV Sem.)

were the runners up of the competition.

-Pranjal Chaturvedi (BBA IV Semester)

20.17 FM: A Memorable Experience

In the beginning of this academic session I had planned to

experience every new activity, be it sports, cultural, or

academics. I knew well events to be organized during

INSPIRE 2017, and decided to take part in almost all the

events because I believe in participation is equally as

important as winning.

It was 28th of January and just after the dance competition,

the 20.17 FM was to be organized. I was very nervous about

this event, as it was the first time I was performing as a radio

jockey. As I reached the venue the competition was about to

start. Coordinators of the event Dr. Amit Joshi & Ms. Shalini

Joshi from School of Arts and Social Sciences familiarized the

participants with rules and regulations of the competition.

Participants were instructed to decide and prepare a topic of

their choice in five minutes. The most exciting part of the

competition was its judge - the very talented RJ Rohit from

92.7 Big FM, Bikaner.

When the competition began, I was amazed to see the

performances of the participants. Their confidence and

excellent command over the language made me very

nervous. But eventually I got over my nervousness and

regained confidence just in time. I started off with full

confidence and went on pretty strong. I got a huge round of

applause. Although it was just a random try, still I was happy

that I tried a new thing. As the results were announced, I was

not even counting myself in the race of winning but to my

great surprise I was the winner of the event. I hugged my

friends tight out of excitement when they congratulated me.

Everybody complimented my performance. I felt on the top

of the world at that moment.

I was proud of myself not because I won the 1st prize of Rs.

2100/- (Well, although that is one solid reason to be proud)

but I was also proud of my genuine efforts that went in. It was

a memorable experience, as I explored a new talent. It also

bolstered my confidence as I imbibed a desire to challenge

myself and push my limits.

-Meghna Bagree (MBA II Semester)

CASH THE TRASH

(Junkyard)

Why don’t you let your TRASH bring you some

CASH??

Are you still throwing out those empty cans from

last night’s party?

Wait a minute!! I have something very exciting for

you.

We all have heard the saying “One man’s junk is

another man’s treasure”. Well this holds true in

RNB Global University.

Many multi-talented RNBians participated in the

‘Cash the Trash’ competition organized on the

second day of INSPIRE 2017. Coordinators of the

event Professor Kumud Sarin, Dean and Dr.

Praveen Gupta, Associate Professor, from the

School of Basic and Applied Sciences briefed the

participants on the rules of the competition.

The participants brought in their best ideas. I

remember a group of students who made serving

trays with broken photo-frames and waste yarns.

Enthusiasm & excitement of the participants

during the competition was remarkable.

Everyone was deeply involved in transforming

their trash into a beautiful, innovative & useful

thing so that they can convert their junk into cash.

The winner of the competition was Abhilasha &

Team, who showcased their exceptional talents

followed by the runner up Gunjan & Team.

So friends, what are you waiting for?

Quit reading this, “Go give your unused stuff a

new home- I promise it will make you feel good”.

-Ajoshweta Periwal (MBA II Semester)

Style is not all about being fashionable or trendy but

it is about one’s comfort, grace, sophistication,

simplicity, attitude and the way one carries oneself.

RNBGU organized ‘IT’S- TYLISH’ on the second day of

the annual fest INSPIRE 2017. It was much more than

a competition; it was a platform for the students to

showcase their hidden talents and to show what sets

them apart from others.

It is said, “You are what you wear”. A formal dressing

style signifies an executive. A traditional sense of

style indicates a person who appreciates vintage,

while a funky attire implies an easygoing, fun person

with a laid back attitude.

The event was hosted in the hope of showcasing

ethnic attire. The fashion show featured different

outfits that students wear to parties and functions.

Judges are the integral part of every competition

therefore; the esteemed judges for this stylish event

were Ms. Bharati Daftari, Aaina Botique and Ms. Ekta

(Embellish beauty parlour).

The competition comprises of two rounds- First was

the introduction round where the participant

wearing an ethnic attire ramp walked with their

partners and introduced themselves. In the second

round, talents of the participants were showcased.

The event was a grand success, as the young RNBians

liked it a lot. Because of this competition RNBians got

a new concept of style and fashion, as the competition

emphasized not only on the outer beauty of a person

but also focused on the beauty of inner self.

Ms. Khyati Jain and Ms. Deepali Sahoo, SOL were the

coordinators of the event; and Muskan Chhajer and

Paramdeep Singh (BBA II Sem.) were the winners of

the competition.

-Priyanka Baid (MBA – II Semester)

WORDSMITH: REMINISCENCES

I participated in Wordsmith, a contest for creative

writing, held on the first day of the annual fest

INSPIRES 2017 at RNB Global University. Dr.

Awadhesh Pandey, SOBAS and Ms. Shalini Joshi,

SOASS were the coordinators of the event. The

esteemed judge for the event was Mr. Malchand

Tiwari, a poet, writer, and translator, who

received the coveted Sahitya Academy award in

1997 for his poetry.

A lot of students, from other colleges also

participated in this event. Before the competition

began the judge Mr. Tiwari gave us an insight on

creative writing. In his address he explained how

writing is a spontaneous act, and how one has to

let go of oneself and drift with emotions to write

something. We were given the liberty to write

anything such as a character sketch or an event

that one has experienced. Grabbing this

opportunity to showcase my love for poetry, I

wrote about a fictional character, I hope to see in

my life as my partner. It was a moment of

spontaneity; everyone was drifting away from the

world of reality to his or her own world of

imagination. Engrossed in themselves, each one

exhibited different facial expression of

satisfaction, sadness, pleasure, peace and pain

etc. I saw how people here at RNB Global

University like to express themselves without any

restrain. Very soon the results were announced

and despite having doubts on my verse, to my

great astonishment I was declared first, the silver

was grabbed by Palak Kocher (BBA IV Sem.) for

her Prose. It was truly an experience of being in

the moment.

-Soju Joseph (B. Sc. IV Semester)

MYSTICAL RHYTHMS

Out of the several events that took place during INSPIRE

2017, Mystical Rhythms (singing competition) was one

of the most memorable. Besides RNBians the event

witnessed huge and active participation from various

academic institutions/colleges of Bikaner. Mr. Anurag

Harsh from National Rajasthan, Bikaner and Professor

Hansraj Arora, SOL, were the judges. Dr. Amit Joshi,

SOASS and Mr. Akhand Pratap Singh, SOBAS, were the

coordinators of the event. The Stage was managed

eloquently by Divyaraj Singh Rathore (BA LLB – II Sem.).

As the competition started, students came forward with

their remarkable singing talents and the theatre was

filled with melodies. While all students sang well, some

rocked the stage. The judges Mr. Harsh and Prof. Arora,

were lost in the classical singing of Akanksha Bhojak of

Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner, who eventually got the

first prize followed by the first and second runner up

Pankaj Kumar Pandey from Govt. Engineering College,

Bikaner and me respectively. All the three winning

performances along with the others were fabulous and

exhibited young singing talent at their best. Although,

the 'duet' and 'group' category witnessed only a single

participant, yet the overall event was remarkable and

magnificent.

This was the only event for which I rehearsed a lot at

home as well as in the University. My friends Rishabh

and Pradhuman helped me a lot in my preparation.

Finally, it was 29th Jan 2017, the day on which I had to

perform. At first, I was very apprehensive that I might

forget the lyrics but gradually I overcame my

apprehensions. My name was announced for the

performance. I started quite well and then I became

confident and sang with my natural flare. Really, it was

a thrilling and enjoyable moment for me. After the

performance I was very happy as one all applauded me

for my performance.

-Rahul Kagdiyal (B. Sc. II Semester)

Dance is more than just a sport it is a passion. Dance

is something you work hard for, something you put

all of your effort into. Out of the several events that

took place during INSPIRE 2017, the techno-

cultural fest of the university, held on 28th and 29th

January. My favorite event was ‘Twist and Turns’.

This particular event was enjoyed a lot by the

audience. Students from other schools and colleges

enthusiastically participated in this event along

with the RNBians. This competition was organized

in three categories - Singles, Duets and Groups.

Coordinators of the event Ms. Khyati Jain & Ms.

Deepali Sahoo, SOL briefed the participants on the

rules and regulations of the competition. All the

participants performed very well. They showcased

their skill and talent in such a manner that the

whole theatre was filled with cheers.

The judge Mr. Uttam Singh, a theatre artist, was

amazed to see the fabulous dance performance

given by Pranay Kachhawa of M. N. Institute of

Applied Sciences, Bikaner, who secured first

position in the (senior) Solo performance category.

Aman (BBA LLB II Sem.) secured the second

position in the same category. In the Junior Solo

category Srishti Bajaj from Seth Tolaram Bafna

Academy, Bikaner was the winner. In the Senior

Duet category, Mukund Kanwar (LLB II Sem.) &

Ajoshweta Periwal (MBA II Sem.) bagged the first

position and we got second position in the same

category. In the Junior Duet category Nisha &

Monica from Vidhyaniketan Senior Secondary

School, Bikaner, got first position. Garima & Team,

and Deeksha & Team secured the first and second

position respectively in the category of Senior

Group category. Mr. Amit Tandon gave the prizes

before his live performance during the closing

ceremony. This event gave us an opportunity to

sharpen our skills.

-Muskan Chhajer & Twinkle Surana

(BBA II Semester)

I AM KALAM

(Working Model/Project)

RNB Global University is committed towards the holistic development of the

students. ‘I am Kalam ’was an event organized on the first day of INSPIRE 2017.

In this competition students were asked to prepare a working model/project

based on the theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom. The competition

was an attempt to provide a platform to the students to concretize their abstract

theoretical concepts. Prof. Kumud Sarin and Prof. R N Gupta, SOBAS, were the

coordinators of the event, and the judge for the event was Professor Dr. Vimla

Meghwal from SKRAU, Bikaner.

I, along with my team of three members – Prabhjot Kaur, Pragya Shubha

Ramawat & Vaishali Jangir (B. Sc. II Sem.), was at the venue to display our project.

There were several more teams competing in this event. The project had various

categories like mechanical, hydro, solar, etc. My project was on wastewater

management and rainwater harvesting. After all the projects were assembled,

the judges arrived and interacted with the students. The Judges asked several

questions to the participants based on their respective projects. Judges reserved

their opinion regarding the projects to be announced on the next day. The result

was announced on the second day and as expected we were the winners of the

competition. Kamlesh (B. Tech. II sem.) with his team secured the second

position. My team, and me not only enjoyed this event a lot but also benefited by

all the information provided by the teachers and other teams during the event.

-Simranleen Singh (B. Sc. II Semester)

DRAMATIX

Shakespeare’s renowned quote – “All the world’s a stage,

And all the men and women merely players” throws light

on the importance of drama in one’s life as it not only

encourages us to be self confident, self reliant and

proactive but also helps in the development of our

concentration and communication skills. Keeping this in

mind RNB Global University organized a drama

competition – ‘Dramatix’ on 28th January during INSPIRE

2017 in the Open Air Theatre. Students from all the

programs participated in the competition. The themes

for the drama were unconventional social issues. Mr.

Uttam Singh, a theatre artist & choreographer, was the

judge of the competition.

Preeti & Team from MBA IV semester notched the first

position for their stupendous enactment on the

problems of women’s distortion in our country. The first

runner up was Kartik & Team from B. Sc. II semester,

who by their emotional patriotic play on martyrs

brought tears to everyone’s eyes. Thus, ‘Dramatix’ event

served as a ground for dispersion of diverse emotions of

felicity, melancholy, patriotism, bravery, etc. Ms. Shalini

Joshi, SOASS and Mr. Kshitij Jangir, SOCM were the

coordinators of this event.

EARTHY ART

(Sand Art & Clay)

Earthy Art is also referred to as, “Land Art”. It largely puts it

focus on the natural landscape to create site-specific

structures, art forms, and sculptures using material that can

be extracted directly from nature, such as stones, water,

gravel, and soil. Hence, to acquaint the students with this

unique art and, with a purpose to prepare them to showcase

their talent and creativity in any environment, RNB Global

University organized Earthy Art competition on the second

day of INSPIRE 2017. Mr. Anurag Harsh from National

Rajasthan was judging the competition and Ms. Deepali

Sahoo, SOL & Mr. Kshitij Jangir, SOCM were the coordinators

of the events. Several teams participated in the competition.

Our team consists of Khushi Parakh as team leader and

Bhavya Gupta, Kalpana Agrawal, and me as members. When

we began it seemed to be a challenge to complete the task in

one hour, however, because of the team work and perfect

synchronization we could complete it in prescribed time

limit. Finally our strategy and hard work won, we won the

first prize for the competition. The second prize went to

Prabhjot and Team. Our Clay art was appreciated a lot by the

judge and viewers.

2017, the closing ceremony commenced with great zeal with the

welcoming of dignitaries and guests. Everyone had gathered in the

Open-Air Theatre to bid adieu to two days of success, learning’s

and fun as we start awaiting the next year’s festivities. The special

guest for the ceremony was none other than Mr. Amit Tandon, a

famous television actor & singer. His singing created an ambience

of vigour and melody. His performance was relished a lot by the

youth and everyone was compelled to shake a leg with him.

Winners and the runners up of various events were awarded

prizes by the Honorable Vice Chairman Mr. Pramod Bajaj and Mr.

Amit Tandon.

The ceremony ended with the award for the best programme

going to the School of Commerce and Management. The runner up
