Facts!The Nile is the biggest
river in the world!It is 6,853 kilometres long and 2.8 kilometres wide.
Where does it flow through?
It flows through Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan, Burundi and Egypt. It originates in Burundi then flows into northeastern Africa then into Egypt and
finally into the Mediterranean Sea.
The River Nile!
The two main rivers that converge into the Nile are the White Nile and the Blue Nile.
Where the Niles originate.
The White Nile originates at Lake Victoria and the Blue Nile originates at Lake Tana in Ethiopia. They meet in Sudan and join the journey to the sea.
Egyptians!The Nile is important to the Egyptians for water,
transportation and soil to grow vegetables.
