IV. The last-ditch effort of Satan

(Rev 20:7) And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

(Rev 20:8) And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and

Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

(Rev 20:9) And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints

about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

(Rev 20:10) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the

beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

V. The everlasting judgment

(Rev 20:11-15) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the

earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead,

small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was

opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were

written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man

according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the

second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake

of fire.

A. The predictability

of this judgment

(Heb 9:27) And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the

judgment:

(2Ti 4:1) I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who

shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

(Act 17:31) Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained;

whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from

the dead.

(Rom 2:1) Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou

art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest

thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

(Rom 2:2) But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth

against them which commit such things.

(Rom 2:3) And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou

shalt escape the judgment of God?

B. The panic of this

judgment

(Rev 20:11-15) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there

was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and

the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead

were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man

according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the

second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake

of fire.

2 Peter 3:7-13

C. The paperwork of this judgment

(Rev 20:11-15) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the

earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book

was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things

which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave

up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And

whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

(Joh 12:47) And if any man hear my words, and believe

not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to

save the world.

(Joh 12:48) He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my

words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have

spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

(Heb 4:12) For the word of God is quick, and powerful,

and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing

even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a

discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

(Gal 3:10) For as many as are of the works of the law are

under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one

that continueth not in all things which are written in the

book of the law to do them.

(Rom 2:16) In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according

to my gospel.

(Ecc 12:14) For God shall bring every work into

judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or

whether it be evil.

(Luk 12:2) For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that

shall not be known.

(Luk 12:3) Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets

shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

D. The people of this

judgment

E. The final place of this

judgment

(Rev 20:11-15) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the

earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead,

small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was

opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were

written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not

found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

(Mat 22:8) Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

(Mat 22:9) Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.

(Mat 22:10) So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they

found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

(Mat 22:11) And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a

wedding garment:

(Mat 22:12) And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he

was speechless.

(Mat 22:13) Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him

into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

(Mat 13:49) So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the

just,

(Mat 13:50) And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be

wailing and gnashing of teeth.

(2Co 5:11) Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in

your consciences.

F. The permanent end of this judgment
