The researchers role

The researchers will be responsible for writing and submitting the research proposal to the

relevant personnel. A questionnaire will be developed to be used as the main tool for gathering

the necessary data. The researchers will formulate the questionnaires based on information

collected from the literature review and the theoretical framework. The results from this

questionnaire will seek to attest or refute the hypothesis. The researchers will then collect,

analyse and disseminate the information gathered from the research findings. It will be ensured

that the data collected from the respondents will be kept confidential and stored anonymously in

a secure filing cabinet.

A pre-test of questions from the questionnaire will be used to measure data reliability and

validity. The researchers will randomly select respondents having the same characteristics of the

population being studied, to complete the pre-test. These respondents will not be included in the

study population. The researchers will seek to determine how well the questions are understood,

and the clearness of the instructions as well as the specific time needed to be allotted for

completion of the questionnaire.
