  10. 10. Preparatory and primary school is mandatory. Secondary and tertiary school isnt required. Immigrants are offered extra language classes. 27% of children never attended school. 88% has gone to secondary school. 45% has gone to tertiary school.
  11. 11. Theres no national religion. There are five major religions. Those religions are on the table. Religion generally doesnt affect the law. There are inter-religious disputes. 50% of Serbs are Orthodox Christian.   12. 12. First settlers were the Lepenski Vir. A Serbian nationalist caused WWI. Serbia joined the Allied Powers. Serbia became part of Yugoslavia. Yugoslavia split up in 1992. Serbia and Montenegro separated in 2006.
  13. 13. GOVERNMENT Serbia is a parliamentary republic government. The current President is Tomislav Nikolic. The Prime Minister is Aleksandar Vucic. The government formed on July, 2008. There are four deputy prime ministers. There are also twenty-six specific ministers.
