  • Father and Son (Ephesians 3: 14, 15). Some have the matter so confused that they believe that theFather, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are simply three manifestations of the same Being.

This was not a new problem for the translators, it existed from ages past. These diverse beliefswere a major contributor to the split between the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern OrthodoxChurch. It began, basically, when the Roman Church added the word filioque (meaning "and from theSon") to the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, about the 7th century A. D.. This doctrine of what hasbeen called "the double procession of the Holy Spirit" had been discussed for centuries prior to this, withno apparent unification among those involved in the controversy. Arguments and debates abounded, butvery little "taking it to the Lord in prayer" - which would have produced a definite answer to thequestion, completely in harmony with the Scriptures.

This problem seems as if it is almost unimportant, as long as one receives the Spirit's work intheir life. And, if this is all there were to the matter, that may be true. But the real heart of the matter isin the answer to the question, Is the Holy Spirit just a power, an influence; or a Person, from Whomcomes the influence and power of the Truth? For those who do not spiritualize away the Personality ofthe Gods (Hebrew: Elohim - feminine base, masculine plural ending), including the Person of the HolySpirit, this controversy takes on profound significance. This even more so considering that in Hebrewthe word for Spirit (Ruach) is feminine.

In light of the facts that the word that is used to describe the Creators of mankind is bothfeminine and masculine, and that the word for Spirit is itself feminine, it is easy for the honest at heartto see a family image in heaven as it is on earth (Romans 1:20). But considering that the Son also hasHis own Spirit, His own feminine counterpart, this would lead one to conclude that there is also a divineDaughter. Thus we have the reason for the usage of the term "Holy Ghost" - to distinguish between theSpirit of God (the Holy Spirit Mother) and the Spirit of Christ (the Holy Ghost Daughter).

This thought is also in harmony with the key texts that were presented at the beginning of thisstudy. That is, that "the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, beingunderstood by the things that are made;" and that what was made to reveal God's image and likeness wasmankind, a male and a female "in his own image, in the image of God." But even more of therevelation of the hidden things of God seen in the creation of Adam and Eve is revealed in Genesis 1:28,where we read "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply." Thus theability to multiply is also give to mankind to reveal the "invisible" things of the "Godhead." As time haswell shown, God's image, male and female, is only fully manifested the complete family image - father, mother, son, and daughter.

"Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them thatare weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts." Isaiah 28:9. This strong meat is not for babes, but is for those who use strong meat in due season. "For every one that useth milk is unskilful in theword of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, eventhose who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. (Hebrews 5: 13,14).

Today one can refer to many Hebrew dictionaries and lexicons, written by Christian and evensome Jewish sources, which note that the Hebrew word for Spirit, Ruah, is masculine, or neuter. Then atthe same time, many other credible sources by similar scholars say it is definitely, and only feminine. The very fact that these differences exist should make it obvious that there is a definite effort tosuppress the truth that there are feminine Persons in the Godhead in whose image and likeness mothersand daughters are made.

THE BRIDE OF CHRIST - THE HOLY GHOSTTHE HEAD OF THE CHURCH ON EARTH

  • In John 15:26, it is written that the Spirit "proceedeth from the Father," and in John 8:42, Jesussays, "I proceeded forth and came from God." Also, in John 1:14,18; 3:16,18, and 1 John 4:9, it iswritten that Jesus is the "begotten Son of God," the Father. The word in Greek, gennao, which istranslated "begotten" means exactly that - procreated. He could not be the divine SON of God if Hewere not BEGOTTEN, for all other sons of God are so by creation (as were the angels and Adam - Luke3:38), or are adopted sons (as are the redeemed - Romans 8: 15, Ephesians 1:5). Though the Holy Spirit"proceedeth from the Father," She was not begotten as was the Son. She came forth from the Father, asEve came forth from Adam. Thus, "the invisible things of Him, from the creation of the world, areclearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even ... [the] Godhead!" Rom. 1:20.

The testimony of Christ in Psalms 2:7 is, "the Lord [YHWH] hath said unto me, 'Thou art MySon; this day I have begotten Thee.' " In Hebrews 1:1-5 and 5:5, this psalm is applied to Jesus, and isused to explain how He acquired His Divine nature - that is, by "inheritance." The apostle John alsomakes it quite clear that Jesus was begotten of the Father, for he says, "Whosoever believeth that Jesusis the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth Him [the Father] that begat loveth Him [theSon] also that is begotten of Him [the Father]." 1 John 5: 1.

The Hebrew and Greek words that are translated "begotten," yalad and gennao, respectively, when applied to mankind, are understood to mean procreated. But when applied to the Gods (haElohim), people don't want to apply the proper meaning of the words to the reality of the origin andexistence of the "only begotten" Son of God. All living things that procreate do so "after their ownkind." So it is with God, the Father - His Son is "after" His "own kind," divine. He was begotten byThe Father, not created. It is strange how students of the Word accept the reality that human beingscome forth from human beings, but seem unable to believe that a Son who is also God came forth fromGods (the Father and Holy Spirit).

"He [Jesus] hath by inheritance [heredity] obtained a more excellent name than they [theangels]." Hebrews 1:4.

To truly understand the thoughts that are portrayed in the Scriptures, especially the OldTestament Hebrew, it is necessary to be true to the gender therein. Since there is no neuter gender inHebrew, as there is in Greek and English, then whenever we read "it" or even "he" where the Hebrewreads "she," we are losing some of the value of the truth as it was revealed. The gender of the Scriptureswas not an accident, for our holy Gods had Their hand on every "jot and tittle" (Matthew 5:18).

The Jews, generally, acknowledge that the Scriptures refer to the Gods, YHWH, not only in themasculine and feminine genders, but also in the singular and plural forms. But what they reject, alongwith most of the rest of the world, is that they themselves, male and female, parents and children, areliterally, in form and feature, in the "image" and "likeness" of Gods, as stated in Genesis 1:26,27, and5: 1,2.4.

Mainmonides, one of the greatest Jewish philosopher, says, "God is not a body, nor can bodilyattributes be attributed to Him, and He has no likeness at all." The Moslem's belief, as stated in theKoran, is that "Allah does not beget, nor is begotten." They believe that Jesus was a great prophet, butnot the "begotten Son of God." Therein lies the source of many of the identity crisis people are havingtoday. The Bible says that they (male and female) are in the "image" and "likeness" of Gods, but mentell them differently.

In John, chapters 8-10, we see that it was after emphatically stating that the God which the Jewsprofessed to serve was indeed, in reality, His Father, that the Jews picked up stones and tried to do awaywith Him. They believed themselves to be the sons of God (John. 8:41), but not literally, as Jesus wasclaiming to be. He was saying, "before Abraham was, I am" the begotten Son of God, My Father.

  • Those who rejected Christ because of His claim to be the begotten Son of the Eternal God, foundit necessary to hide the feminine representations of God in the Holy Scriptures that made it quiteobvious that there was also a Mother figure in the Godhead, and that thus His claim could besubstantiated by the Scriptures. This is most evident in the English translations of the three mainHebrew words which are translated God; El, Eloah and Elohim.

The Hebrew word Elohim, which is translated "God" (singular) in most Bibles, is, in fact, pluralin Hebrew, not singular. This hidden truth is somewhat revealed by the fact that the pronouns used indirect relation with it are all, themselves, plural. Actually, there isn't anyone English word that fullyexpresses the true meaning of Elohim, That's because in Biblical Hebrew all words have gender assignedthem, and some words, such as Elohim, contain an interplay of gender. English words, generally, don'treflect these features. English is not alone in this inadequacy.

The root word of Elohim is Eloah, which is feminine, and translates into English as Goddess. Itis the feminine form of the masculine word El, which translates into English as God. The interplay ofgender in Elohim comes with the adding of the masculine plural ending, im, to the feminine base ofEloah. Thus, that revelation of the Creators of mankind that is expressed in the Hebrew word Elohim -that is, the feminine/masculine/plural revelation - is not truly seen in the English words used to express"the Gods, the Living Ones" tha-Elohim hayyim - Deuteronomy 5:26) who created gendered beings inTheir image and likeness. The same is true in other languages, even those in which gender is a majorfactor.

From the fact that the word used to describe the One(s) in whose image mankind is made isElohim, the one with the feminine base and a masculine plural ending, rather than the singularmasculine, El, or the singular feminine, Eloah, it's clearly seen that He (She) is (They are) not singular, but rather, a united Family (Male and Female), as were Adam and Eve. That the word is not Elim(masculine base with the masculine plural ending) indicates that the Creators of mankind revealed inGenesis are not all masculine; that it is not Elohot (feminine base with the feminine plural ending)indicates that They are not all feminine.

El, when used in referring to YHWH, or to a heathen deity, is translated correctly as God, orgod - masculine in gender, singular in number. Eloah, according to the rules of Hebrew grammar is thefeminine form of El and would thus be correctly translated Goddess. Strong's Thayer's, andEnglishman's concordances all show Eloah rather than El as the root of Elohim (Gods).

The most obvious evidence of the warfare against the truth of Christ's begotten divinity(Godship) is in the translation of elohim. When it is used in references to heathen deities it isconsistently translated gods (plural), but when referring to YHWH, it is translated God (singular). Thereis no justifiable grammatical reason for the inconsistent translations.

Then again, when elohim is preceded by ba, it is translated "the gods" when referring to elohim(gods) other than YHWH. Yet, when h a elohim is used to refer to YHWH, the ha (the) is nottranslated, and "the Gods" plural becomes "God" singular.

Some of the most obvious places where this inconsistency can be seen are as follows.

"For God [elohim] doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods [elohim], knowing good and evil." Gen. 3:5.

"Woe unto us! Who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods [ha Elohim, haaddirim - literally, "the Gods, the mighty Ones"]? These are the Gods [ha Elohim] that smote theEgyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness." 1 Samuel. 4:8.

What is notable in the last text is that not only is elohim plural, but so is its modifier, addirim -mighty Ones. Among numerous other instances where plural modifiers are used in conjunction with

  • elohim, most significant is the phrase, "living God," which, in many places, is translated from theHebrew words, Elohim hayyim - literally, Gods, the living Ones. This phrase appears in Deuteronomy5:26, Jeremiah 10:10, and 23:36, and in other places in the Old Testament.

Not only is the plurality of YHWH revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures, it has also been revealedin the Septuagint, the most prominent Greek translation of the Hebrew Scriptures, and even in theGreek New Testament, though none of the English translations of either of these correctly express thisfact. The Greek Septuagint translation of the Hebrew words Elohim hayyim in Deuteronomy 5:26 reads,Theou Zontos - Gods, living Ones.

But what is most revealing is the use of the Greek words Theou zontos (Gods, living Ones) in theNew Testament. They are in Matthew 16:16, where we read,

"And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Therein the Greek actually reads "tov Theou tov Zontos" - literally, "the Gods, the living Ones."This same usage appears in Matthew 26:63, John 6:69, Acts 14:15, Romans 9:26, 2 Corinthians 3:3,and 6:16. While the New Testament Greek has the article tov (the) preceding both Theou and Zontos, and the Masoretic Hebrew text and the Septuagint Greek text do not, such is not unusual considering thenature of both of those translations.

In Old Testament Hebrew the article the (ha) was not always used, though it is commonlyaccepted that it is implied. Also, it has been well noted that there are numerous places in the commonlyreferred to version of the Old Testament, the Masoretic text, where that text does not read as do themore ancient manuscripts. This version was made between the 6th and 9th century A.D., well after thetime of Jesus, and after the time the Jews had determined to reject the notion that the Gods, the LivingOnes, could literally have a Son (John 10:32-36). It has been noted that there are around 200 changesfrom the feminine to the masculine and in number in that version. The primary reason why there werechanges and omissions in that translation was to obscure the fact that the Gods, the living Ones couldhave a literal Son - the truth could be sustained by the Scriptures as they originally read.

In the work of the translation from Hebrew to Greek for the Septuagint there was anotherfactor at play that affected the outcome. That is, that the translators were concerned about notappearing to be worshippers of multiple gods, as were the nations around them. Therefore, they avoidedthe usage of articles of speech that might imply that they were what has been termed Polytheists. Thusthey also left off the implied (and formerly used) article the (tov). This should not seem so strange whenwe consider that the English translators have done the very same thing by translating the plural wordElohim in the singular, when it is in fact plural. But there is a deeper reason for this that will be discussedlater.

The New Testament writers were more faithful to their work than were the others. Though theyoften used the Septuagint as reference when quoting the Hebrew Scriptures, they did not always followthat translation. This is evident from the way that their Greek wording of "the Gods, the Living Ones"varies from the Septuagint. The same cannot be said of the English translators. They have chosen toleave words out of their translations, thus obscuring the true sense of the words. The fact that tov Theoutov Zontos actually means "the Gods, the Living Ones," (plural) may be further discerned by looking atLuke 24:5, 6:

"And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Whyseek ye the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen:"

The Greek version of the words in bold type reads, tov Zonta - the Living One (which refers toChrist). Zonta is the singular form, while Zontos is the plural form. These facts show us two things - theproper translation of tov (the); and that while this verse should read "the Living One" (tov Zonta), theplaces where "tov Theou tov Zontos" appears should read, "the Gods, the Living Ones.

  • Daniel was shown an accurate account of the work of the power that has been suppressing thesetruths.

"Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself aboveevery god [EI], shall speak blasphemies against the God [EI] of gods [EUm] , and shall prosper till thewrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done.

"He shall regard neither the God of [Elohi] his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard anygod [Eloah - Goddess]; for he shall magnify himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor agod [Eloah - goddess] of fortresses; and a god [Eloah - goddess: Mary] which his fathers did notknow he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things.

"Thus he shall act against the strongest fortresses with a foreign god [Eloah - goddess: Mary],whom he shall acknowledge, and increase with glory; and he shall cause them to rule over many, anddivide the land for gain." Dan. 11:36-39. New King James Version.

The major factor in the reasoning behind translating Elohim in the singular (God), is themisapplication of one Scriptural statement, "Hear 0 Israel: the Lord [YHWH] our God [Elohinu-literally, "our Gods"] is one Lord [YHWH]." Deuteronomy 6:4. The actually order of the words reads,"Hear 0 Israel: the Lord [YHWH] our God [Elohinu] iLord [YHWH] is one [echad)." Thus, Moses wasnot saying, "God is one," as is so commonly said, but said "the Lord [YHVH] is one." Even where Jesusquotes that verse in the New Testament, the order of the Greek words is the same, "Lord, our Godswhich is, Lord one is," though the English translations don't follow that order.

The Gods were not telling Israel that He (They) was (were) one Being, but that They (theGodhead) were UNIFIED - ONE. This was contrary to all the other religions that surrounded them, inthat all of the other "deities" were in opposition to, and even warring among each other. Polytheismwasn't the problem, a divided or defaced Godhead, as portrayed by pagan religions, was. God is "one,"echad, united, a Family.

Since it is a commonly known fact among scholars that the word in Hebrew for Spirit (ruah) isfeminine, many have no problem in seeing a MOTHER figure in the Godhead. This is true of Jews andChristians. The Jews, generally, do not believe that God (Elohim) has any form or likeness at all, soseeing the male and female qualities evident in the Scriptures presents no real problem to them.

The problem that arises, though, for Jew and Christian alike, is the notion of a Bride of theMessiah, a DAUGHTER of God, especially so since the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, speak of Her. The book of Revelation is an unfolding, revealing, of that which is hidden in the rest ofthe Holy Scriptures. It has been well said that "In the Revelation all the books of the Bible meet andend." Since the Lamb's Bride is portrayed in the Revelation, let us, therefore, examine some of the otherScriptures that speak of the Bride, which have been "hidden" (Rev. 2: 17) until now. The first is Psalms45, wherein is a description of the King and His Bride.

"My heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the King[Jesus]: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer. Thou [Jesus] art fairer than the children of men: graceis poured into Thy lips: therefore God [the Father and the Holy Spirit - Mother] hath blessed Theefor ever. Gird Thy sword upon Thy thigh, 0 most mighty, with Thy glory and majesty. And in Thymajesty ride prosperously because of Truth and meekness and righteousness; and Thy right hand shallteach Thee terrible things. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby thepeople fall under Thee. [see Revelation 19: 11-16]

"Thy throne, 0 God [Jesus], is for ever and ever: the scepter of Thy kingdom is a rightscepter. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God [the Father and The HolySpirit - Mother], Thy God, hath anointed Thee with the oil of gladness above Thy fellows. All Thygarments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made Theeglad. King's daughters were among Thy honorable women: upon Thy right hand did stand the Queen inthe gold of O'phir.

    7

  • "Hearken, 0 Daughter [of God], and consider, and incline Thine ear; forget also Thine ownpeople, and Thy Father's house; So shall the King [Jesus] greatly desire Thy beauty: for He is ThyLord; and worship Thou Him. And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich amongthe people shall entreat Thy [the Daughter's] favor.

"The King's [The Father's] Daughter is all glorious within: Her clothing is wrought of gold. Sheshall be brought unto the King [the Son - Jesus] in raiment of needlework: the virgins Her companionsthat follow Her [wise virgins, Mat. 25 - the 144,000, Rev. 14:1] shall be brought unto Thee [Jesus].With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the King's [Jesus'] palace [inthe kingdom].

"Instead of thy fathers shall be Thy children, whom Thou mayest make princes in all the earth.I will make Thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore, shall the people praise Thee forever and ever." Psalm 45.

As Adam (the son of God - Luke 3:38) was presented with Eve, his bride (the daughter of God),so shall the Second Adam (Jesus, the Son of God) be presented with His Bride (the Daughter of God, TheHoly Ghost - Psalms 45: 14). She will leave Her Father's house (Her dwelling place in heaven), and Herown people, those angels who remain in heaven to minister to the Father and the Holy Spirit, to dwellwith the King (Jesus), on His throne, in the earth made new. (Ps 45:10).

There is also Jesus' own testimony of His Bride, revealed in the Song of Solomon. Solomon, theearthly son of David, wrote prophetically of the heavenly Son of David (Jesus), and His Bride.

"My Dove, my undefiled is but one, She (the Holy Ghost) is the only one of Her Mother (theHoly Spirit), She is the choice of Her that bare Her." Song of Solomon 6:9.

Then there is Her very own testimony in Proverbs about Herself, and Her relationship to Jesus. We are admonished to "Hear ye the rod [the instrument of guidance and correction], and WHO hathappointed it." Micah 6:9. Who hath appointed the prophets of God? The Holy Ghost!

"Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth Her voice? She standeth in the top of highplaces, by the way in the places of the paths She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at thecoming in at the doors.

"Unto you, 0 men, I call; and My voice is to the sons of man. 0 ye simple, understand wisdom:and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Hear, for I will speak of excellent things; and the openingof My lips shall be right things. For My mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination toMy lips. All the words of My mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. They are plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge. Receive myinstruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold ...

"The Lord [Jesus - YHWH] possessed me in the beginning of His way, before His works of old. Iwas set up from everlasting, or ever the earth was. When there was no depths, I was brought forth;when there were no foundations abounding with water. Before the mountains were settled, before thehills, was I brought forth. While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest partof the dust of the world. When He prepared the heavens, I was there: when He set a compass upon theface of the deep: when He gave to the sea His decree, that the waters should not pass Hiscommandment: when He appointed the foundations of the earth: Then I was by Him, as one broughtup with Him; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him." Proverbs 8:1-9, 22-30.

Since Jesus is the Creator of the world (John 1:3,10; Colossians 1:16; Ephesians 3:9), it is clearfrom the preceding verses, that there was One who "was there" when He created the worlds. This HolyOne says that She "was brought forth" "before His works of old ... When there were no depths ...[etc.]," and "was by Him, as One BROUGHT UP WITH Him," and "rejoicing always BEFOREHim."

The Hebrew word translated "was brought forth" is khool. It appears in Job 15:7, "... wast thoumade before the hills?" and in Psalm 51 :5, " ... I was shapen in iniquity." It also carries the meaning of

  • the travailing that women go through in childbirth, as seen in Isaiah 66:7, "Before she travailed, shebrought forth." Another way of translating Proverbs 8:24, 25 would be, "I was travailed," or, "I wasbirthed." To be "brought up with" someone implies that the one which one is "brought up with" wasalso "brought up." Before He created anything, Jesus was begotten by His Father and brought up byHis Father and The Holy Spirit, His Mother. But He was not an only child. The Scriptures declare thatHe is the "only begotten Son," but not the only begotten at all. His Sister, His Bride was there "as onebrought up WITH HIM."

Jesus said, "Wisdom is justified of all Her children." Luke 7:35.

Why is the word "Wisdom" used to symbolize a Person, and a feminine One at that, and Onewho has "children"? The Hebrew word for "wisdom" is hookmah, and it is feminine in gender. Whatactually is "Wisdom?" Wisdom is Inspiration. To be wise is to be responding to Inspiration. HeavenlyInspiration comes from the Holy Ghost. Worldly wisdom comes from below, the devil. "...the way ofman is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps." Jeremiah 10:23. Everyone iseither inspired by God or by the devil; there is no middle ground. You either have fellowship with theholy angels who bring the Truth as inspired by the Holy Ghost, or with the fallen angels who bring liesfrom the devil. This is why She, The Holy Ghost says.

"Now therefore hearken unto me, 0 ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hearinstruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at mygates, waiting at the posts of my doors. For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of theLORD. But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me lovedeath." Proverbs 8:32-36.

As in earthly things, children are nurtured and learn primarily from their mothers, so in theheavenly - Wisdom (the Holy Ghost) has many children. Psychologists acknowledge that many of themental and emotional problems that exist in the world are a product of a bad relationship with one'smother. As in the earthly, where a wise child is one who takes heed of his mother's good counsel andprospers thereby, so in the heavenly. "Wisdom," the gift of Inspiration, causes the children of the HolyGhost to prosper. " ... believe His prophets, so shall ye prosper." 2 Chronicles 20:20. "... the HolyGhost whom God hath given to them that obey Him." Acts 5:32. "She openeth her mouthwith wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness." Proverbs 31 :26.

If Wisdom, the Holy Ghost (the Daughter), the Bride of Christ, is awaiting Her marriage how isShe also a Mother (Luke 7:35)? Jesus, Himself, is called the "Everlasting Father" (Isaiah 9:6). InBiblical Hebrew there is no word for grandmother or grandfather. One's ancestors are called "fathers"and "mothers." All Christians have been "adopted" (Romans 8: 15) into the "family of God" with"Everlasting" Parents. It is written,

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father oflights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with theword of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." James 1: 17, 18.

What is truly odd about the general Christian concept of the Godhead, and, particularly, that ofthe Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost, is that they talk about being "born of the Spirit," yet deny that ittakes a heavenly Mother to bear holy children. Yet Jesus' own words to Nicodemus show that He wastrying to teach men about their heavenly Mother. The Greek version of John chapter 3 bears out thisfact.

Jesus said to Nicodemus that a man must be "born [gennethe] again" (verse 3). In the languagethey were speaking (Aramaic) Nicodemus must have understood Jesus to be speaking of the process thatone experiences with his mother, for he responded, "How can a man be born [gennethenai] when he isold? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born [gennethenai]? (verse 4). Jesus'response portrays the beauty of God's thinking on this matter, for He says, "Except a man be born

    o

  • [gennethe] of water [an earthly mother] and of the Spirit [a heavenly Mother], he cannot enter into thekingdom of God. That which is born [gegennemenon] of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born[gegennemenon] of the Spirit is spirit." (verses 5 & 6). All of those Greek words in italics are feminineforms of geneo, which means procreate. This whole passage portrays the necessity of a heavenlyMother.

While many understand that the Church is the bride of Christ, there is more to this matter thatbears looking into. In Matthew 25 the Church is depicted as "virgins" waiting with the Bride for thecoming of the Bridegroom (Matthew 25 1-13). In Revelation 19:9 the Church is portrayed as guests"which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb." Also, in Matthew 22: 1-14 the Church isportray as "guests" at the wedding of the King's Son. So, as the Church is portrayed as virgins waitingwith the Bride, also as guests at the wedding of the Lamb and His Bride, and its supper, how also can shebe the Bride?

"And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him thatis athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely." Revelation 22: 17

"The significance of the Jewish economy is not yet fully comprehended. Truths vast andprofound are shadowed forth in its rites and symbols. The gospel is the key that unlocks the mysteries."Christ's Object Lessons, p. 133. "He (Paul) exalted Christ, the proper understanding of whose ministry isthe key that unlocks the Old Testament Scriptures, giving access to their rich treasures." Acts of theApostles, p. 229. The key of the New Testament which unlocks the Old Testament Scriptures is in John3: 16.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth inHim should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16.

"For unto which of the angels said he at any time, thou art my son, this day I have begottenthee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?" Hebrews 1:5.

This key opens the door to understanding the types and symbols of the Old Testament.

It has also been said that "the doors of the New Testament are unlocked with the key of the OldTestament." The "key" of the Old Testament is the law which typified the coming sacrifice which Godwas to make for the forgiveness of sin and restoration of the fallen race. Each of the different types ofanimals, young and old, male and female, and the manner in which they were presented and offered, typified different aspects of the Gods (ha Elohim) intercession for us.

The regular sin offering of a he-goat (literally "the son of a she-goat," Numbers 28:15) tells ofthe Goddess (the Holy Spirit) who gave Her Son for a sacrifice.

For thousands of years students of the Scriptures have been unable to understand the use ofgender in Hebrew. The interplay of masculine and feminine forms of the same word, without knowinghow to turn this key in the "door" of the New Testament, has left many without anything to do but toscratch their heads and say "its all Greek to me." Some masculine words with feminine plural endings, such as abbaot, fathers, and some feminine words with masculine plural endings, such as Elohim, beingconstructed contrary to the normal rules of Hebrew grammar have left many a brilliant scholar baffledand speechless.

As stated, the key that opens the door is in the truth that "God gave His only BEGOTTENSon." As the creation testifies, sons are produced by a union of male and female; division andmultiplication. The word abbaot, fathers, with its masculine/feminine representations tells a story ofGod's design in love and nature. The very word "father" implies, of necessity, a "mother." Even theword "man" implies a "woman," for a "man," in himself, is an expression of gender, and gender is a two-sided coin. The feminine plural ending ot, which makes the singular masculine base abba into its plural

    If)

  • form, implies that to have fathers, you must have mothers. A person can only have one biologicalfather. If the word were to have the masculine plural ending im, it would imply that one could have amultitude of fathers, with only one mother, something which is impossible.

The word for mothers emmaot (feminine base, feminine plural ending) likewise tells her story. For the plural ending ot implies that many women can be mothers without a plurality of fathers, something very possible. If it were possible for a woman to have more than one father for her child, theplural word for mother would be emmaim, with the masculine plural ending.

"Among the Jews are some who, like Saul of Tarsus, are mighty in the Scriptures, and these willproclaim with wonderful power the immutability of the law of God." Acts of the Apostles, p. 381. "Soulswill be saved, from the Jewish nation, as the doors of the New Testament are unlocked with the key ofthe Old Testament. Christ will be recognized as the Savior of the world, as it is seen how clearly the NewTestament explains the Old." Evangelism, p. 579. As this happens we will acquire a true, genderinclusive translation of the Scriptures.

The warfare against the pure masculine and feminine portrayal in the Hebrew Scriptures isevident in every society that embraces a neuter form in its language. Those societies generally freelymock the concept of seeing all things in masculine and feminine terms. "For then I will restore to thepeoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of the LORD, to serve Him with oneaccord." Zephaniah 3:9. New King James Version

    ---0---

As stated earlier, there is a deeper reason for men portraying God as a solitary being. It is writtenthat in the last days Lucifer is to appear unto men, and will claim to be God. Some understand that hewill claim to be Jesus, Himself. As he is only one being, he has to make men believe that he is theFather, Son, and Holy Spirit, all in one being. It is written:

"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a fallingaway first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exaltethhimself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in th etemple of God, shewin2 himself that he is God.

"Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye knowwhat withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work:only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked berevealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with thebrightness of his coming:" 2 Thessalonians 2:8

The "falling away" spoken of here refers to the same thing which is spoken of in Daniel7:20-21, and is related to the situation mentioned in Revelation 12:15. Furthermore, the Old Englishlanguage of this verse obscures it meaning. The word "letteth" means hinders. That which"withholdeth," "letteth" (hinders), and which must be "taken out of the way" in order for "that Wicked"(transgressor) to be exposed as he really is, is the Holy Ghost. That is, that which now restrains theDevil from fully exposing him self, and demanding the worship which he feels he is due, is the gloriouslight of the Gospel brought through the work of the Holy Ghost who brings the Truth, even the "hiddenmanna" (Revelation 2: 17) into all the world. But as men continue to fight against that holy influence,She will withdraw Her graces from the world in general, being only with those who love and appreciateHer presence, thus making way for the coming of "that Wicked."

"For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but theLORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." Isaiah 60:2

"Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD hath spoken. Give glory to the LORD yourGod, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye

    11

  • look for light, he tum it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness. But if ye will not hear it,my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down withtears, because the LORD'S flock is carried away captive." Jeremiah 13: 15-17.

Yet, after that evil one who has greatly troubled this world has made his appearance, and hasrevealed fully his true character and motives, he will come to his end, as it is written:

"Thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressorceased! the golden city ceased! The LORD hath broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of therulers. He who smote the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled the nations in anger, ispersecuted, and none hindereth.

"The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing. Yea, the fir trees rej oiceat thee, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying, Since thou art laid down no feller is come up against us. Hellfrom beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all thechief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

"All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thoubecome like unto us? Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm isspread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

"How art thou fallen from heaven .. 0 Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cutdown to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I willascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of thecongregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like themost High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

"They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is thisthe man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as awilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?" Isaiah 14:4-17.

Thus it becomes incumbent upon us to have a true understanding of

    WhoisYHWH

"And God (Elohim) spake unto Moses and said unto him: I am the LORD (YHWH). And Iappeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty (El Shaddai), but byMy name, JEHOVAH (YHWH), was I not known to them." Exodus 6:2-3.

There is no question that the name YHWH applies to the Father, Who is understood to bedwelling in Heaven, upon a throne (Psalms 11:4; 47:8; 103:19; etc.). But the Scriptures apply this nameto the whole Godhead - ha-Elohim,

In Genesis 11:7, it is written that YHWH said, "Come, let Us go down, and there confound theirlanguage .. ." And They, YHWH, went down to the tower of Babel to perform Their will. While manybelieve that this was merely the one and only God speaking to the angels, such does not harmonize withother facts that are revealed in the Holy Scriptures concerning YHWH. First and foremost is the factthat Father God has a Son who is also God. Therefore, YHWH was speaking to at least His Son. Thissame thing occurred at Mt. Sinai (Exodus 19: 11), and at other times (Numbers 11: 17).

In Isaiah 40:3 we read, "The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way ofthe LORD (YHWH), make straight in the desert a highway for our God."

Most Christians accept that prophecy of the coming of John the Baptist, who was to preparethe way for Jesus (See Matthew 3:3, Mark. 1:3, Luke 3:4 and John 1:23). Yet the Hebrew text reads,"Prepare ye the way of YHWH." Thus the Spirit of Truth clearly shows that Jesus was also knownas YHWH.

  • YHWH, God, the Son, came to earth and took on a body of flesh, and a new name - Jesus(Yahshua - Joshua). After His ascension, He sat upon His Father's (YHWH's) throne (Psalms 110: 1),there to receive a kingdom of His own, on earth, wherein He will sit upon His own throne - thus finallydwelling, visibly, with His people. It is written of the Son,

"He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give untohim the throne of his father David:" Luke 1:32.

"To him that overcometh will I [Jesus] grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I alsoovercame, and am set down with my Father in his throne." Revelation 3 :21.

"At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD [YHWH]; and all the nationsshall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD [YHWH], to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk anymore after the imagination of their evil heart." Jeremiah 3: 17.

So, the throne of David, which is also called "throne of YHWH," shall be given unto the Son ofDavid, Jesus [YHWH]. The following verses also bear out these facts.

"Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD [YHWH] as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him." 1 Chronicles 29:23.

"And He [YHWH] said unto me, Son of man, the place of My throne, and the place of thesales of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by thecarcases of their kings in their high places." Ezekiel 43:7.

"And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in theregeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelvethrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Matthew 19:28

Yet there are other thrones of YHWH other than the one on which the Son will eventually sit.The throne that we have been looking at is also called "throne of God and of the Lamb." (Revelation22: 1, 3). Then there is the "great white throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth andthe heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them." (Revelation 20: 11). This is the Father'sthrone in heaven upon which Christ sat with Him when he ascended to heaven (Mark 16:19). Thedifference between these two thrones is that the "great white throne" is the Father's throne, upon whichthe Son sits with Him until he receives His own throne on earth - throne of God and of the Lamb." Itis called the throne of Them both because from it Christ reigns on the earth to His Father's glory.

There is also the throne which is in the heavenly Sanctuary, before which Christ intercedes as "aLamb as it had been slain" in our behalf before the Father (Daniel 7:9; Revelation 4: 1-2). This thronewas "set" in a place which has a "door." Such it is with the heavenly Sanctuary. This is further borne outby the purpose for which this throne and its place exist - that is, as a place for intercession andjudgement. We may also note that it was after this throne was "set" that the Ancient of Days (theFather) did sit. Thus this shows that it is not the same as the great white throne from where He rules theuniverse. The thing that these three thrones of YHWH have in common is that they are stationary. There are other thrones of YHWH which are moveable.

Ezekiel saw YHWH on a travelling throne coming to earth, then departing, then havingreturned again (Ezekiel chapters 1-10). The purpose of this throne coming to where Ezekiel was, "bythe river Chebar" (Ezekiel 1:1), was to give Ezekiel a message of a coming investigation and judgement, and of his calling to be a "watchman" to God's people.

Isaiah saw something very similar (Isaiah 6), another travelling throne of YHWH. These variousthrones, and the Ones named YHWH who sits upon them, show that the name YHWH applies to

    11

  • Persons whose individual presences can move from place to place. Therefore, YHWH is the name ofthe Elohim who have form and substance which can be perceived, and in whose image and likenessmankind have been made. Still further evidence that YHWH's presence may be in different places at thesame time we note the following.

In 1 Samuel 4:4, and in other places, the Scriptures speak of "YHWH of hosts, who dwellethbetween the cherubim" in the earthly sanctuary. Many Christians believe it was Christ who dweltbetween the cherubim, and who spoke to them from there (Numbers 7:89), and was also the One whodirected Israel from the cloud by day and the fire by night. Yes, He was there guiding His people, but Hewas not alone.

Many, Jew and Christian alike, understand that it was God's glory that dwelt between thecherubim. The Jews refer to God's Presence, His Glory, as the Shekinah. Though this term is not foundin the Scriptures, in all of the other Hebrew and Aramaic writings its use is consistently feminine ingender. To them, the Holy Spirit, the Shekinah, was a feminine manifestation of YHWH, HisGlory. This representation, and those we have from the understanding of the femininity of the Spirit inHebrew, and those of the Hebrew word Eloah, are not the only ones which bear out this truth. Anotheris found in the true definition of the title by which YHWH was known before He revealed that name toMoses - that is, El Shaddai (Exodus 6:2-3).

EI Shaddai has been translated by notable scholars as "Mighty Breasted One," and carries with ita feminine representation of YHWH. In many places where El Shaddai occurs, Eloah (Goddess) alsoappears - Job 5:17; 6:4; 11:7; etc ..

That YHWH is spoken of in the feminine gender also, is clearly seen in a gender accuratetranslation of Psalms 113:5-9; "Who is like unto YHWH our God, She that is enthroned on high[hamagbihi], She that looketh down low [hamashpili] upon heaven and upon the earth? She who raisedup [mekimi] the poor out of the dust, from the dunghill will He lift up [yarim] the needy; That She mayset [l'hosivi] him with princes, even with the princes of His people [ammo]. She who maketh [moshivi]the barren woman to dwell in the midst of the household, the joyful mother of children. Hallelujah."

The Hebrew language has gone through four major changes. Biblical Hebrew, Hebrew of theMishna, Medieval Hebrew, and Modern Hebrew. All pronouns in Hebrew also have (had) gender. Todayit is taught that the different forms of "I" and "We" are interchangeable in gender. No attempt isgenerally made to explain why all other pronouns have definite gender. Could this be because Scripturehas recorded God speaking in both forms?

ANI - This is what a man would generally use to say "I." ANOCHI - This is the FEMININEform of "I."

In Genesis 28:13 & 14 YHWH says, "...I [ANI - masculine] ... will ...give it [the land]." yet inverses 15 & 16 YHWH says, "...I [ANOCHI - FEMININE] am with thee, and will keep thee."

From this it is easy to see that the One, YHWH, who is pronouncing the promise is speaking inthe MASCULINE gender, while the One, YHWH, who promises to "BE WITH" and "WILL KEEP" usin speaking in the FEMININE gender. Here we are shown the Father and the Holy Spirit. Following areother occurrences of Anochi as used by YHWH:

"I [Anochi] will cause it to rain ..." Genesis 7:4.

    "I [Anochi] am thy shield .. ." Genesis 15: 1.

    "I [Anochi] Judge ..." Genesis 15: 14.

"I [Anochi] am the God of Bethel ..." Genesis 31: 13.

    1.1

  • "I [Anochi] am God ... I will there make ... I [Anochi] will go down with thee ..." Genesis 46:3,4.

"I [Anochi] am the God of thy Father ..." Exodus 3:6.

"Certainly I [Anochi] will be a WITH thee' ..." Exodus 3:12.

"have not I [Anochi] WILL BE WITH ... and TEACH ... " Exodus 4: 11.

"I [Anochi] will BE WITH ..." Exodus 4:15.

"I [Anochi] will slay thy son ..." Exodus 4:23.

"I [Anochi] am the Lord [YHWH] ..." Deuteronomy 5:6.

"and I [Anochi] will BE WITH thee." Deuteronomy 31 :23.

"I [Anochi], EVEN I [Anochi], AM HE [SHE] THAT COMFORTETH YOU:" Isaiah 51:12.

It is clear from these texts that the God [YHWH] who is to be "WITH" us" - the Holy Spirit -spoke in the FEMININE GENDER and is of WHOM woman is made "in the image and likeness."

Of the multitude of languages He could have used, Jesus chose to speak in the common languagesof His time and place, Aramaic and Hebrew, the language of the Scriptures. In Aramaic (as well as in itssister language, Hebrew), the Spirit is in the feminine gender, so then the following is a more accuratetranslation of what He actually said in John 14:16-18:

"I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter [Paraclete, in Greek], thatShe may abide with you forever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because itseeth Her not, neither knoweth Her; but ye know Her [Wisdom]; for She dwelleth with you, and shallbe in you. I will not leave you comfortless [margin - orphans]."

We are not left "orphans" because we have been adopted by a loving Father and Mother into aFamily with not only a Brother, but also a Sister who has the Family name YHWH.

    ---0---

"The invisible things of Him are ...clearly seen, being understood by the things that aremade." Rom. 1:20.

At the base of all living organisms are the building blocks known as DNA - deoxyribonucleicacid. DNA contains all of the information for the completing of the organism. The fascinating thingabout this is that DNA is composed of four acids, which are referred to as A, T, G and C. These fourcombine into two pairs - A & T, and G & C. A only bonds with T, and G only bonds with C. Thusnature also tells of the "invisible things of Him" - The Father and the Holy Spirit (Mother), and TheSon and the Holy Ghost (Daughter).

As "father" implies "mother," so the word "son," implies a "daughter," for male and femalereproduce male and female after the "image" and "likeness" of their Maker.

Jesus was crucified because the Jews and Romans wanted to put shackles on God, by saying thatHe could not beget a Son in His "express image" (Hebrews 1:3). Today, those who believe that God canhave a Son, are hard pressed for a reason as to why God cannot have a Wife and a Daughter also, if it beHis will.

    1"

  • Where is the Scripture that reads, "Blessed be he who hath a son, yet no wife or daughter?"Christ is portrayed as having a Bride, yet, to most people's thinking, His Father has no Bride, Wife.

So, YHWH, Who goes by the titles, El (masculine), Eloah (feminine), and Elohim (femininebase, masculine plural ending), and Elim, is in reality, four divine Persons - a holy Family who arealtogether "One." Thus we can see that the translators of the King James Version saw with greater depththan their successors the truth of the "Spirit of God" (the Holy Spirit) and the "Spirit of Christ" (theHoly Ghost), and revealed their insight of the reality of the heavenly Family in the use of the wordsHoly Spirit and Holy Ghost.

The Bible is composed of the writings of holy men of God, "For prophecy came not in oldtime by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost" (2Peter 1:21). Thus, the Holy Ghost (the Daughter of God) is really the author of the Bible, for it was She(Wisdom) Who Inspired the Bible prophets whether by dreams, visions or thoughts. She has told us quitea bit about Her Family (Father, Mother and Brother) through the gift of prophecy, but in modesty haskept Her own identity somewhat hidden until now, when it is time to fully understand the Godheadwhom we will soon behold in all Their glory.

"You have heard; see all this. And will you not declare it? I have made you hear newthings from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them. They are created nowand not from the beginning; and before this day you have not heard them, lest you shouldsay, 'Of course I knew them.' Surely you did not hear, surely you did not know; surely fromlong ago your ear was not opened. For I knew that you would deal very treacherously, and werecalled a transgressor from the womb. For My name's sake I will defer My anger, and for My praise I willrestrain it from you, so that I do not cut you off." Isaiah 48:6-9. New King James Version.

This truth of the Bride of Christ is old, but its understanding is created new for us today. It is a"new sharp threshing instrument having teeth." Isaiah 41: 15.

The full beauty of all these heavenly truths will be clearly seen "on earth as it is in heaven" inthe full restitution of the divine institution which accompanied the Sabbath from the gates of Eden -marriage. Heaven begins in the home. In our families, our Gods are restoring not only Their moralimage, but also Their "image" and "likeness" in our "form and feature" (Great Controversy, p. 644-5),our "outward resemblance" (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 45). Hallelujah. These truths, when fullyunderstood, will bring into balance all of the relationships men and women have with each other, in allphases of life; at home, at work, at church, in the highways and byways of life. "When truth cannotsave, it kills." Timely Greetings, Vol. 2, p. 15:10.

Before sin entered humanity the Gods (ha Elohim) created an "image and likeness" ofThemselves which is known as a family. This image was and is to be eternal. All of the unfallen, sinlessworlds, of Gods' vast universe, with their multitudes of holy families, all reflecting Their Creators' image, are anxiously awaiting the redemption and restoration of the family of Adam to the image of true sonsand daughters of the Gods (ha Elohim) in whose image and likeness we are made.
