T-4: DISCOVER

Today, we live in a world where opportunities are infinite but changemakers are scarce.

From the Industrial Revolution to the first moon-landing, mankind has accomplished more in the past 300 years than at any other period in its history. Yet this exponential material progress is not mirrored by an evolution of the human spirit itself. With all the technology made available to us, the big problems around the world today remain unsolved; problems of disease, deprevation, distribution, and disaster.

Perhaps the biggest problem today is that there are simply not enough people solving the world’s biggest problems.

This is why REACTOR wants to bring entrepreneurial aptitudes to the forefront of education. Using entrepreneurship as a platform, we want to empower young people with a certain set of skills that will spur them into action, skills that will position them to tackle the impossible questions plaguing humanity today.

We believe that to accomplish this, the education system needs to change. And we are the changemakers the system needs.

But to do this, we need your help. Will you take that leap with us?

Why entrepreneurship?

5

The REACTOR TRAINING PhilosophyThe key to mankind’s continued prosperity lies in un-

locking the innovativeness and entrepreneurial drive of our youths.

Educational institutes must be the drivers behind seeding and nurturing these aptitudes, in order to prepare them for the mantle of leadership as demanded by the world of tomorrow.

Here at REACTOR, we design experiences that empow-er individuals with the belief that they are ready to be the change-makers in today’s world. More than just a set of entrepreneural know-hows, the greatest takeaway for our students is the ability to unlock their inner drive to become better versions of themselves.

3 Principles of Training

INNOVATION

a little bit of craziness is good; the creative kind, of course, not the

I-am-going-to-stab-you kind

CURIOSITY

an earnest desire to discover is the engine of achievement; always aim

to nurture their sparks

EXPRESSION

every student is an individual; allow each to express himself herself in

a unique manner

T-3: CHALLENGE

Here at REACTOR, we are dead serious about preparing students for the future.

As an entrepreneurship training institute, REACTOR is more than just about teaching young people how to build a start-up. While we take pride in our success at fulfilling deliverables and customising the curriculum to your needs, what truly makes us stand out is our ability empower students upward and onward.

Every REACTOR programme promises to deliver a lasting, transformative experience for the participants. How so?

It all begins with the right values. REACTOR believes that to be an entrepreneur, one must have the right mix of attitudes; that of Independence, Grit, iNnovation, Interpersonal skills, Teamwork, and Empathy. We reverse-engineer the ingredients that make up the successful entrepreneur, and come up with activities and programmes that are equal parts fun and work. We explore key start-up concepts in the classroom, and get our students out of the building and into the real world to experience the entrepreneurship scene for themselves.

The REACTOR journey is a call to action, a chance at personal metamorphosis, an experience unlike any other.

Welcome aboard.

Why choose us?

Why iNnovation: the ability of humans to create impossible solutions to existing problems lies at the very heart of what an entrepreneur does. We therefore prepare students for oppurtunites of the future.

Activities include: design thinking, problem iden-tification, formulating solutions through divergent thinking, prototyping a Minimum Viable Product.

Why Empathy: at REACTOR, we believe that every entrepreneur must have conscience. Bringing value to the community is therefore a primary considera-tion for any start-up in today’s world.

Activities include: conducting interviews with real people about real problems, charting an empathy map, brainstorming different ways to effect positive change in your community.

Why Grit: the ability to perservere and deliver on your goals in the the very genetic code of an entrepreneur. In a generation of unequal oppor-tunities, grit is the equaliser that allows one to transcend beyond one’s circumstances.

Activities include: sharings by seasoned entrepre-neurs, building a business with Tina Seelig’s $5 challenge, securing real feedback for the purpose of customer validation.

Why Independence: self-directed learning (also known as being autodiadactic) is essential for one to succeed when placed in an unfamiliar and chal-lenging environment.

Activities include: getting out of the building; talk-ing to potential customers; conducting their own research on coming up with their final idea; in-dependently approaching mulitple sources for in-formation.

Why Independence: self-directed learning (also known as being autodiadactic) is essential for one to succeed when placed in an unfamiliar and challenging environment.

Why Teamwork: choosing the right people for your team and being able to work together is necessary for your idea to succeed.

Why Empathy: at REACTOR, we believe that every entrepreneur must be able to view the world through the eyes of the user and customer, which allows them to bring true value to the community they serve.

Why iNventive: the ability of humans to create impossible solutions to existing problems lies at the very heart of what an entrepreneur does. We therefore prepare students for future opportunites. Why Interpersonal Skills: in an age of instant

connectivity, many still prize verbal prose above all other modes of communications. We therefore teach our students the art of pitching, from studying the body language to choosing the rights words for the right occasion.

T-2: VOYAGE

The REACTOR training programme is a flexible curriculum that is calibrated to your needs.

Every class has its own objectives it seeks to accomplished based on unique needs and circumstances, and this is precisely why each REACTOR Training experience is customised to a specific audience. It does not matter if it is a one-day engagement or a year-long research module, a group of 5 or a seminar for 50; we have made it work, and we will continue to do so.

For a closer look at what you can expect from REACTOR, we introduce here two of our most comprehesive offerings: the Enterprise Leaders Programme (ELP), and the Entrepreneurship Cornerstone Programme (ECSP). They showcase the depth of our engagement with students, as well as the sheer breadth of the curriculum we offer. These can be found on the next page spread.

Each programme is also accompanied by the Starteur Profiling TestTM, an assessement tool developed by REACTOR that helps students identify their most outstanding entrepreneurial quality. To find out what else you can do with Starteur, visit http://app.starteur.com/ for more information.

What can we do for you?

Design Your Own SeriesEvery REACTOR programme is an opportunity for us

to desgin a completely unique experience for your students. Also known as a “Series”, each programme is

carefully curated from our Training Library that comprises 14 different curricular blocks. These blocks are catagorised in a way that is easily accessible for trainers and students alike, and the Library is updated frequently to include the latest in entrepreneurship education.

We start out designing a series by first selecting from the 14 curricular building blocks based on your specifications. Each block alone is completed with content and activities that can be delivered as a complete lesson plan, or simulta-neously with a second block to explore multiple disciplines at the same time.

Below is an overview of our curricular blocks. Contact us to find out more!

T-1: Endeavour

REACTOR has impacted more than 600 youths in the past 3 years, but we are just getting started.

More than just engaging youths and clocking targets, REACTOR seeks to convert as many youths as possible towards the spirit of entrepreneurship, in a way that allows for the development of the individual as well as the empowerment of the larger community. We want students to take action and solve problems, to cultivate within themselves the motivation to pursue that which is purposeful and ambitious. And we pledge to support them in all things entrepreneurial, even after the conclusion of our engagement.

To this end, we pride ourselves for having exceeded expectations on every count.

We have produced many students who have ventured on into the start-up scene after our programmes, some even going so far as to set up their own enterprises. Our high impact engagements have allowed us to secure meaningful partnerships with schools; we continue to support the entrepreneurial communities in these institutions. Above all, our testimonials prove that we have incited a transformation in students that extends far beyond the programme itself.

Yet there is still much to be done; in our mission to cultivate the galaxy’s next young founders. And if you share the same hopes as we do for the changemakers of tomorrow, why not take on this journey with us?

How far have we journeyed?
