Massive bursts of solar wind and magnetic fields, shot into space on July 23, 2012, would have been

aimed directly at Earth if they had happened nine days earlier, Luhmann said.

The bursts from the sun, called coronal mass ejections, carried southward magnetic fields and

would have clashed with Earth's northward field, causing a shift in electrical currents that could

have caused electrical transformers to burst into flames, Luhmann said. The fields also would

have interfered with global positioning system satellites.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Skywatchers, get ready to see a rare vanishing act — and

don't blink.

In the wee hours of Thursday, a 45-mile-wide asteroid will eclipse the brightest star in the

Constellation Leo. The asteroid is 163 Erigone in the asteroid belt between the orbits of Mars

and Jupiter. The star briefly disappearing will be Regulus.

What makes this unusual is the brightness of Regulus and the potential viewing audience.

Weather permitting, the eclipse should be visible with the naked eye from New York City and

elsewhere along a populated swath in the U.S. Northeast and eastern Canada.

and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and

great glory.31

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and

they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and

putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:33

see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.34

The occurrence of a lunar eclipse is common.

The occurrence of a total lunar eclipse is less

common.

The occurrence of a Tetrad or four

consecutive blood moons ( total lunar eclipse)

is rare.

The occurrence of a Tetrad with a total solar

eclipse within its series is very rare.

significant to Israel’s history and the Jewish

feasts is very, very rare.

The occurrence of a Tetrad with a total solar

eclipse historically significant to Israel and

the Jewish feasts that includes a Shemittah

year within it’s series is very, very, very rare.

But a Tetrad with a total solar eclipse

historically significant to Israel and falling on

the jewish feasts with a Shemittah year that

corresponds with the Jewish New Year within

it’s series is astronomically rare.

Scary 1929 market chart gains traction

Opinion: If market follows the same script, trouble lies directly ahead

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (MarketWatch) — There are eerie parallels between

the stock market’s recent behavior and how it behaved right before the 1929

crash.

That, at least, is the conclusion reached by a frightening chart that has been making the rounds on Wall Street. The chart superimposes the market’s recent performance on top of a plot of its gyrations in 1928 and 1929.

The picture isn’t pretty. And it’s not as easy as you might think to wriggle out from underneath the bearish significance of this chart.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
