Pro: The Benefits of Using OER$$$- it saves money for

students. There are many courses

available from prestigious schools like Yale, Stanford, Harvard, and MIT.

Education is available to anybody- not just those able to pay for classes.

Cons: The Challenges of OERLack of understanding of

what an OER is and how it can be used.

Non-revocable- while you can restrict after the fact, anybody who already has the content can keep using it.

Quality assurance- anybody can post a resource.
