The Community Constituents Committee is intended to be a source of broad-based, focused and representative input from the community.The Community Constituents Committee is intended to provide direct linkages between GROW DECATUR and various community groups- both ad-hoc and specific organizations.The plan would be to meet with the Community Constituents Committee on a bi-monthly basis to provide updates on GROW DECATUR activities and to seek input (advice, feedback and suggestions) from these important representative groups of the Decatur Community.

Provide an encouraging environment and targeted support for companies headquartered in Decatur, to help grow businesses and increase employment. Lakefront- Support and promote lakefront development projects to provide Decatur with additional attractive options for housing, economic development, recreation and entertainment, while developing the lake to provide Decatur with an ample and reliable water supply.
