What is CARBODILITE?
“Carbodiimide” is a generic name of chemical substance [-N=C=N-].
CARBODILITE is multifunctional polycarbodiimide which contains chains
of carbodiimide group developed by our original technology.
CARBODILITE product line up

CARBODILITE Powder Type
Remarkable improvement of anti-hydrolysis property
Less pyrolysis gas emission and irritating smell during melt molding process
Excellent yellowing resistance
Key Benefits
4
Mechanism of hydrolysis control
• Existence of H2O
• Free carboxylic acid (acid catalysis)
⇒ Dehydration with carbodiimide group
⇒ CARBODILITE reacts with carboxyl groups,
suppressing the catalytic promotions.
Also, CARBODILITE introduces cross-linking by the
same reactions to fasten the amputated molecules.

*HMV-8CA is previous version of HMV-15CA. HMV-15CA has superior performance than HMV-8CA.
Because CARBODILITE is crosslinking with carboxyl group included in PBS resin and becomes high-molecular-weight , initial tensile strength growth.
In addition, hydrolysis resistant improve by initial acid value is reduced, and becoming high-molecular-weight.
